The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical when buy China engine but this is not bad for the price. Not sure how long it will last but it started easily. Just make sure you put in gear oil and lube the moving part. The the emission, I guess emitted more burn engine oil comparing 2 strokes built in america so just watch out EPA regualtion in your state.

Youtube was a big help to do the break in process. IMPORTANT the motor comes with no oil added prior to shipping. You need to add 90 weight marine grade oil before you start it the first time.

The media could not be loaded. With my wife and gear I was at 6mph.( 800lbs). Starts right up every time. I use about one and a half gallon on the break in mixture. Fits in the back seat of the Tahoe. More quiet than a lawnmower, but louder than talking level. No regrets and would highly recommend for the first time boat owner. Will update when I run the premix 50:1. As of 11/12/23 it still starts up right away. Fits in the trunk of my Toyota and never let me down. I probably only used 5 gallons of gas since break in.

Just cheap. It runs fine until it deals with pressure. Our shifter broke after one bump on a stump. Exterior bolts are already rusting. The company has ghosted me.

One of the most mentioned things about these motors was how people were accidentally running them without adding oil to the lower unit and causing damage.. So when mine arrived first thing i did was go buy some oil and so i went and unscrewed the plug and oil started running down my hand i hurried and screwed the plug back in (long story short the motor is rtr out of the box)

Just switch on it was backwards and at first you don't want to go in reverse so it had to have a little fixing to it but it still runs great great for the price well worth it Great delivery
