    • Roof panels fly off with the tightest wind

I purchased two of these because the description stated that it withstands wind and snow. I don't know about snow but the slightest wind and the roof panels are air born causing damage not only to the panels but what ever they hit coming down specially the cars under it. I lost 70% of the roof panels with the slightest wind. Not a happy camper as they weren't the cheapest ones in the first place. I would expect amazon to back there products a little better than that. ... show more

My wife and I spent about 4.5 days putting our new carport together. Watch videos before starting. I was impressed with boxes and all with no damage, the even provided extra nuts and bolts. It would have gone smoothly had the company provided a narrative on fine points like squaring the roof,etc. Be careful with screws and bolts they seemed to be a softer metal. I really like my carport I bought through Lowe’s. But I knew with wind and snow I would need to add pressure treated 2x4’s for a few hundred bucks and make this carport bullet proof. It’s like saving on a pizza from Papa Murphys, you add cheeses some olives you got a masterpiece and these days hiring a contractor to build a carport would be in my estimate about 8 to 10k? Buy the carport and upgrade it. Use upgraded joist hangers and beef up that undercarriage. Enjoy this beautiful carport it’s the nicest looking carport I think. I even plan to cover the roof in the summer so snow can just slide off easily. The bottom line is I saved and it looks great. Also in the spring I plan to screw the roof down to the new undercarriage I created. Really simple stuff and I will have a $10,000 carport. That cost me $5k. ... show more

Golden Bull marketing was ery hard to work with concerning the coordination for delivery of the Carport Kit. Somehow they left it to me to coordinate the delivery. Poor Customer Service! The product looks good and seems well made.

Fairly east to assemble, definitely a job for several people. Parts are labeled and easy to identify, directions are easy to follow. No real special tools needed for the assembly and the quality of the parts seemed very good. Overall great look and great value for the price
