Description
Turn off the power first. Use a screwdriver to take out the screws and carefully remove the factory side marker light. Pass the wires through the bracket hole. Position the bracket, drill pilot holes, and fasten securely with self-tapping screws. Join the red wire to the reverse light positive, and the black wire to ground. Check polarity before powering on. Slide camera into bracket until it clicks, then tighten the anti-theft screw. Adjust viewing angle to your needs.

I just put it in the RV, and the quality of the parts was excellent. Having the rear camera ready to install to the manufacturer installed Furrion system was a huge plus. Mounting of all the cameras was straight forward and easy. The 3 different power cables provided was great as it enabled me to select a method to power the cam from a much shorter distance than my previous cam. I really like the low profile screen and I can now mount it on top of the dash without interfering with my line of sight. And the stubby antenna's are a smart choice so they don't stick up in the line of sight either. The 1080P monitor is crisp and clear. One slight drawback to the monitor is that when displaying all 3 cams at once, the compression of the views makes a view a bit squished to look at. For me that is not an issue as will travel with just the rear cam on the screen, then use the appropriate side cam while backing into my garage or campsite. I don't have a trip planned for a week, so the real life test will have to wait. The only ding in the process which is very important but not mentioned in the manual is that the base of the side cameras SLIDE backwards to detach from the camera for mounting. I tried a variety of methods, even prying before I discovered that they slide off. I could have broken mounting plate or camera if I wasn't really careful! Edited review 12/7/25 After several trips now using the camera it has worked well. I do have a few observations that are relevant. First, the rear cam has cog type teeth that only allow adjusting the level of the cam in a small area behind the RV. I like to use the rear cam as a "rear view mirror" to see what is coming up behind me in my lane. With a 33' fifth wheel and 20' long truck I am about 55' long going down the road. My side mirrors work fine once a vehicle is beside me, but from behind I am blind. I was able to tilt the cam up more by inserting a screwdriver in the mounting bracket and gently prying the side of the bracket away from the cam. After that I was able to tilt the cam up high enough to have a clear "horizon" view behind me. Secondly after using the side cams for backing, I realized it would be a great benefit to have a second set of side cams at the rear edge of the RV for a clearer picture of obstructions. The side cams mounted on the front do provide a view of what is behind me, but at 33' away, picking out obstructions can be difficult. To make that possible though, the cam would need to have another screen setting for rear side cams. And I like also have a front license plate cam for maneuvering in tight camp ground roads while backing. That would also require another screen for the monitor. All in all I still like the system, but it could be better.

I originally purchased another brand and had a fair amount of trouble getting it to function. Got their tech support but it took 4-5 days to actually get them to agree it was a faulty unit. Anyway got a refund and purchased this unit. Much easier to get operating. Install was a bit of a challenge as the monitor only works with a cigarette lighter plug. We have two vehicles, a 2024 and a 2025, neither has a lighter port anymore. I would think that they would have updated the product for a USB powered monitor. Had to order an adapter and now have probably 20' wire and attachments bundled up on the dash. The camera is mounted on the back of our 5th wheel trailer. It's mounted toward the top with the intent of making it easier to back into spaces. The angle of the camera is fairly limited. If you are backing in you can only see about 4' on either side of the trailer which is really only useful if you are straight in already. Also the camera is limited in the up/down adjustment by the mounting bracket. You can't raise the angle much more than 45 degrees which isn't very useful. Functionally the picture is clear with no flicker or connection noise. The reference lines are useless with the exception of the do give a reference. This is the first time I have ever used an after market backup camera and it's okay. I had an option of a GMC product that would integrate to the trailer management system of the truck. If I had it to do over I think I would have spent the extra $500. Update to Review - My original review was a 3 star do to the notes in it, I am updating it to a 5 star based on their exceptional customer service. I reached out to the supplier looking for a way to modify the power cable. It was shipped with the 12V lighter plug, so I had to buy an adapter to a USB since our truck does not have one. In doing this the power cable is a huge bunch of wire that is more in the way than anything else. When I contacted them they said that yes, there is a USB 8 pin power cord and they offered to send me one. I haven't received it yet but this should make a huge difference. I thought this was outstanding service but was really surprised when I got another email from Gigi in customer service regarding my original review. Gigi had read the original review and offered to send me the Solar 3A camera to add to the system. It is solar powered and mounts on the license plate holder. Since this system can accommodate 2 cameras it should enhance the usefulness of the system. I installed it yesterday, the instructions for pairing were very easy to follow and I had it mounted, paired and operating in about 10 minutes. The system now allows for use of the original or the second camera independently or together on a split screen. I haven't used it on a trip yet but looking at the view in our parking spot the new camera offers a wider angle in all 4 directions which should show you everything needed to safely back the 5th wheel into a spot. The original camera offers a good view of the bumper and immediate vicinity for depth. I would recommend that the company look at modifying a couple things with this product but I can't say enough good things about the company's service. It is one of the best service experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for a very good product fro an RV I think this is a great option. I would suggest ordering the second camera along with your initial purchase. The modified power cable hopefully will be available to order in their Amazon store shortly if your vehicle does not have a lighter power outlet.

This is a great camera system overall. It keeps a strong signal with the monitor while traveling, and the camera resolution is good. Installation of the rear camera was easy since my trailer came with a pre-wired plug, and the system does its job well for the most part. That said, I ran into a few issues: 1. Rear camera view: You can see either the back of your trailer (for backing up) or how far cars are behind you, but not both at once. You have to pick one view or the other. 2. Instructions: The install and setup instructions are printed extremely small and lack detail. Anyone who isn’t comfortable with wiring or tech will likely struggle. 3. Camera labeling: The cameras aren’t marked left and right. I found out the hard way that my right-side camera displays on the left side of the monitor. Now I have to uninstall both and swap them. 4. Monitor size: The monitor is a bit small. The length is good, but a bit more height would help

I purchased the AUTO-VOX system for my new travel trailer, which claimed to be pre-wired/prepped for a Furrion backup camera, and compatibility for a 'plug and play' connection seemed possible with the AUTO-VOX system. As it turned out, the prep was just a wire without the termination socket, and so I didn't get to use this feature of the AUTO-VOX system. That said, hooking up to the wires with a few wire nuts worked fine and I was able to get the rear view camera hooked up and working without issues. The signal from the rear of my 30' trailer was strong and provided a consistent view immediately after I had the camera mounted and switched on the monitor in the cab of my truck. The side view cameras were a bit more involved to install because of the removal of the signal lights on both sides of the trailer, the removal of the factory latex sealant and in my case, the tight fit due to the cargo doors on either side of the mounting location being barely large enough to accommodate the cameras. With some care, I was able to make everything work out and - as with the rear view camera - the side view cameras immediately paired and displayed on the monitor in my truck. I figured out a way to mount the monitor in a dash top tray, very similar to a picture another user submitted, and so can't comment on the included stand; my mod provides rock-solid stability and easy access to the 12 volt receptacle on my dash. As I have a TPMS plugged there that provides USB ports as well, I used the included USB connector with its inline switch as my option for powering the monitor and everything works fine. The multiple available camera views make for a very comprehensive set of views while driving and backing up the trailer and I couldn't be happier with the system, especially at the price when compared to some of the other options.

Extremely disappointed. Side cameras work great but Rear camera doesn’t work at all. Tried going through the companies email support and never received a response. Then went through the company’s website chat support and felt like it was all bots except for one time when I felt like I was talking to a live person. After providing them all my order details multiple times and me going through countless attempts to resolve based on what they said to try they said they would send a new camera to me. I’ve messaged them multiple times since asking for an update and tracking details but each time they have no information and want me to provide them all my order details all over again as if I’m starting from scratch each time I contact them even though you can visibly see the entire chat history thread. I know there is a time difference but this has been ongoing for the past 3 weeks and I have 1 week left before I miss my return window so I give up and I’m just gonna return it. I have lost faith in this company so I’ll be buying a new system from a different company.

Installed on a 40' older class a. Its great, have taken it on 2 trips no issues. PROS: The coverage is great and had no drops in video. Installation was easy and customer service was great. Would highly recommend. Customer service: remember they are answering from China, so it can take a few hours. But in my case it was operator error. I wished to test the turning camera's before I hard wired them. The power NEEDS a good solid connection. I wasn't getting power which is why I was having connectivity issues. CONS: they are small, but you should know. On older rigs you will need to wire into marker lights, so far the camera's to work yes you will need to turn your lights on. Yes you can wire the rear to a continuous hot and tge rear will always be on. It does connect straight up to prepared furrion systems, how that works with continuous power i dont know. When running all 3 camera's on the screen the 2 side camera's sorta have a foggy delay, but not when your looking at them individually. The rear camera doesnt have the same viewing angle as most rear camera's, but considering the alternative its still good. Its a simple camera/screen with an easy fix to a hard problem.

Installation was a bit challenging given the factors below (hopefully this helps someone with there installation). I do think its a decent system for the price. I have not used it on the road yet as I just finished the installation. * My RV was prewired with a Furrion rear camera housing so rear camera installation was a breeze. Initially the rear camera would not bind but after server attempts powering on/off it did find the rear camera. * The side marker lights are where I had real installation challenges. * The side marker lights/camera have two sets of positive and negative wires. This was confusing to me. I didn't understand which of the two sets were necessary. Ultimately they we're both required which just meant twisting the positives and negatives together. I assume one set of wires is for the marker light and one set is for the camera (Auto-Vox, if you read these reviews please just join the wires internally and avoid the confusion). Unless the intent was to use the marker as a turn signal. That would require two separate sets of wires. * The one set of wires on the side marker were such a light gauge wire using wire nuts was challenging. I ultimately soldered the two sets of wires on the side marker light together, then soldered to the camper wiring. I prefer solder and shrink wrap so I was prepared to do this anyway. * I read other reviews that said be aware of left and right cameras. I made sure I installed them in the correct orientation. I did the passenger side first and when I powered up the camera the image was upside down. This is where I really went wrong! Seeing the image upside down I assumed the camera's were mis-labeled so I de-soldered the right camera and moved it to opposite side of the camper. After re-soldering the wiring and powering up the camera the image had the proper orientation but now it was on the right side of the monitor, which also had me very confused. I attempted to bind the right as the left to shift the orientation. I finally realized there is an option to "flip" the image by camera. If I would have found this earlier I could have saved hours and 3 or 4 attempts to solder/de-solder the cameras. To Auto-Vox, if you bind the cameras at the factory why is the image orientation incorrect? * As others have noted, when viewing all three cameras the center/rear camera image seems squished and hard to view. * I don't really want to adhesive the monitor mounting base to my truck dashboard and there is no suction cup option provided. I have access to a 3D printer so I'm making my own wider base that can support the monitor and make it removable. I will adhesive the monitor stand to my 3D printed wide base that's now removable.

This camera works great for me. I had a Furrion S on my last trailer and after trading it in on my new one a few weeks ago, I decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased with the visibility, ease of installation, and value for the money. I recommend the Auto-Vox as well as the side cameras which come separately. Only issue I found is this does not come with a windshield mount. It worked well for me but, may be an issue for others.
