Love the smell of this product. I use it personally and I also use it in my son’s hair. I use it while my hair is wet and when I want to achieve a smooth and straight finish to my hair. I would recommend this product.

    • New staple for my permed hair
I permed my hair so that I could have beachy waves all day. But that only works if you use the proper products on your hair. Otherwise, I have a frizzy head. I was previously only using Living Proof styling cream and while that helped a lot to define my waves, I had to use a LOT of product to get rid of frizz and my curls still didn’t look perfect. So I started using the Authentic Beauty hydrate spray straight out of the shower on damp hair. It makes your hair soooo soft and immediately removes any tangles. Because even though I deep condition, my hair still feels a bit rough out of the shower. This spray helps get rid of that feeling and makes it so easy to finger comb my hair and I don’t get any tangles even after I’m done scrunching. I spray ample amounts into my damp hair and it doesn’t feel greasy or weighed down. Then I apply a mix of Living Proof styling cream and Odele Air Dry Styler through my hair, and I have defined waves for the rest of the day. It isn’t perfect, because it contains alcohol but I have not noticed it drying out my hair at all. I also can only use it on damp hair. If I use it on dry hair, it just makes it soft but doesn’t hydrate at all. Love this product and others made by this company. This is the best product for dry, brittle and frizzy hair. My hair is so soft and silky feeling using these products.

It's OK at best. I have used and liked Authentic Beauty Concept products before with success, but this leave in conditioner is not quite what I wanted or expected. Definitely only works on damp hair. I tried it on dry out of curiosity and it made my hair sticky, tacky, frizzy, and dry looking (weird, huh). Then because I wanted to use it according to directions before reviewing, I took a shower, towel dried hair, then sprayed this evenly over my damp hair- but more so on ends. My hair is still DRY and frizzy! Maybe I need to use a lot more, which I will do next time. But even if it works at that point, my rating wouldnt change because that means I need a lot more than I normally use when using a spray leave in conditioner. Smell is ok too. It is initially a bit strong, but then it dissipates, leaving a pleasant aroma that lasts. My hair: very long wavy hair. Usually leave in conditioners work well in my hair.
