Customer service is not available, they do not repair crashed equipment and send it to you as a replacment But broken not usable., they do not honor warranty's or contracts.They tell you to send a video of the problems but then do not watch it, leave a message for a call back does not work, they do not call back..Support makes it clear they DO NOT have time for cheap people who buy this low end cheap drone, which is for kids. After giving me 2 broken drones,I mean literally cracked frames and wronge parts installed, demand I go to there repair facility and fix one my self, test broken returns untill I get one that works. So dont bother getting this if your over 12. And dont get this if your under 12 because its dangerous modes like follow me get wacked out and attack you.They are to overwhelmed to have these low end drones and support them. ... show more

Super frustrating. The camera didn't function properly out of the box and the auto pilot of the drone went nuts and nearly crashed itself trying to avoid whatever this color blur. Too expensive to have amateur crap like this happen.

I have several drones, mostly DJI. I Picked this Evo Lite+ up because there was a very good deal on them. The drone is much heavier and more sturdily made than either the Mavic 2 or the Air 2s. Because of that, it tends to fly much more heavily, it's not as quick and nimble as the Air 2s, but it does have a pretty firm feel when flying. You'll get more drift out of the Evo Lite+ than you will from any DJI drone. Remember to run through the complete calibration prior to first flight. I spent half a day trying to diag a yaw condition that turned out to be a simple calibration issue with the remote. a quick calibration and I was back in business. Lastly, remember that Autel views this as a consumer drone, because of that, they have not released an ADK or SDK for it, consequently, there is no 3rd party software for this drone to fly waypoints or run mapping operations. A true shame, because the cameral is top notch. Thats the bad, now for the good. This aircraft has one of the best drone cameras in its class. Instead of a RGGB, the camera is an RYYB, if you don't know the difference, I would encourage you to look it up and watch a video on it. Suffice it to say here, the CMOS sensor is much more reactive to light, which provides for unmatched video quality in its class. Until you step up to the likes of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine, you'll have a hard time matching its video quality. I've been shooting video testing different filters in different lighting conditions sine it arrived, and have yet to shoot a bad video. Pics are just as sharp and of very high quality at 50MP. don’t listen to the nay sayers who claim that because it has an 8 bit cam in stead of a 10 bit it is inferior. It is anything but! Put simply, it dramatically outperforms both the Air 2s and the Mavic 2. The other big benefit of this drone is flight time, it will easily loiter on site in excess of 35 minutes and has an easy total flight time in excess of 40 minutes. all in all, this is a good drone if you're not looking for automated flight operations. I have plenty of drones for that, this one is just fun to fly! ... show more

This drone is not quite there. Flys great. But tracking and obstacle avoidance are expensive features that you pay for...and they are garbage on this unit. If you need either of those features, don't look here. If you don't need them, why pay for them? Need service? Forget about it! If you think you want to deal with Autel, check them out at the BBB website...hard to believe they stay in business at all. They are just barely this side of being a total SCAM. Purchase Autel products only if you want to throw away money. ... show more

    • Be Careful: Autel does not support their products.
I'm one of the many X-Star Premium owners whose batteries died (rather quickly I might add) only to discover that Autel had stopped manufacturing replacement batteries. I have a now useless $1k drone if anyone's interested.
