I got this drone for mapping and I can say it was totally worth it. I had some technical issues on my first flight, the drone kept ascending without my touching the control sticks and the automated flights wouldn't start. I was able to fix these by completing all updates on the drone. Since then it's been working flawlessly. The RTH on this drone is the most accurate I've ever seen and I've used parrot and DJI drones before now and still do. The drone is very stable in heavy winds and just flys like a champ. Customer service is a bit slow but quite polite, professional and helpful. I had some issues with connecting the lanyard and they quickly sent me a user guide on how to install it on the controller. This drone has the best connection I've ever seen on a drone. Very strong and consistent compared to other drones I've used. Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The only reason why it's not a 5 star from me is that the user interface of the Autel App isn't very intuitive, especially the settings tab, most of the settings are just placed randomly and it's hard to find certain quick settings quickly. Also, there very little resource from Autel about how to make the most out this powerful drone, a detailed guide or maybe a video tutorial on its features and use cases would be great 😃. Colors are bit too saturated but picture quality is great. I'll test and use it a little more and update this review in a few weeks.

Using for orthoimagery/3d models with pix4D and working flawlessly. I'm sure some people get lemons but i upgraded all firmware out of the box and have found no issues. As long as you're competent to scroll through settings and understand why something might not work the way you want it to, you will not be disappointed.

Do not buy anything form Autel. I am a very experienced licensed drone pilot with a fleet of over 12 drones, I brought this drone and on my second flight with a 80% full battery it fell from the open sky without warning just lost all power to all 4 propellers and tumbled 300' to the ground completely destroyed. I contacted Autel support and after months of arguing with them over emails with weeks between replys, they told me to ship them what was left of the drone and they would repair or replace it. It's been almost a year and they still haven't refunded me or replaced my drone. And they insisted that I return my controller with it that they have now stolen. someone should start a class action lawsuit against Autel. I am planning on suing them and filling a criminal complaint for the fraud perpetrated on me.I have all documentation. I will also be filing an instant report with the FAA as these drones are hazardous and should all be grounded and banned.

I got the v3 rtk and I am satisfied with the purchase. Took alittle time to test it out but the camera is good, the rtk functions well with vrs and the smart remote is great. The screen is large and very bright in the sunlight. Customer service was very good too.

This drone has the best video quality i've seen on any camera equipped drone. It is not as user friendly as DJI but its well within the user friendly realm (specially referring to RTK functions and RAW photo processing), those do present a bit of a learning curve. Value for money: This bundle beats all, it has more than what's needed for single avg missions. The stability of this thing makes 22 mph look like there's no wind at all and still have more than perfect battery life. And finally, nighttime/lowlight performance is the best in terms of picture quality, video resolution, low noise and color fidelity.
