The Autel lite plus has an impressive battery life. The camera delivers excellent results. The overall weight of the drone gives it stable flight characteristics. Don't let the weight turn you off registration is easy on the drone zone. Night shooting is where the lite plus excels. 4th of July fireworks have never looked better with three nighttime presets. The quick shots make favorite videos such as rocket and flip a snap. Hyper lapse has worked well for me. Ludacris speed is great, get to the subject very fast, slow it down to smooth and get your footage. The size and bag are important. While its not a compact drone its also small enough to bring on family outings without making a scene. Overall the lite plus is a great value in drones. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I originally bought the mavic air 2 from best buy but returned it for two much noise, I then bought the mavic 2 pro which had less noise but still lots of noise in lowlight conditions. Then the camera got stuck in manual focus after 2 days due to a known hardware issue. Obstacle avoidance and shooting modes are way too conditional to be very useful and no 4k 60! I hoped the 3rd time would be the charm and returned the mavic 2 pro to best buy and ordered the autel evo 2 pro 6k from Amazon (best deal). It has all the features I used, and they were more versatile which actually make intelligent flight modes very useful for pro work. the dynamic track is way better than mavics active track. It seems to be more intuitive and confident while avoiding obstacles and keeping the camera locked on the subject. I love that the tracking features allow you to be at eye level altitude for a great dolly movement effect! Image is great right out of camera. LIKE REALLY GREAT! MUCH BETTER AND MORE COLORS THAN MAVIC! I purchased neat video for denoising the mavics' footage but I haven't had to use it at all for the evos footage yet, (which is kinda bittersweet since I payed 150 bucks for the program and it does a great job!) I'll probably have to update this later because this drone is still exceeding my exceptions every time I use it. Where as, most things with the mavics were less than expected. Youtube reviews don't do the evo 2 justice. I have 3 batteries and have yet to need more than 2 on a shoot. It's got a great battery life, but it also just seems to get great shots on the first take if you adjust the settings properly for the shot/conditions. ... show more

    • Outstanding aerial camera platform. Fabulous photos & breathtaking video quality!
I have been flying the Mavic Pro ever since it came out 4.5 years ago. DJI was the unchallenged leader at that time, but their success went to their heads and ended up giving less than stellar customer service. Because of this I promised myself that I will only do business with companies who care about and respond to their customers concerns. When I learned of the EVO-2 Pro 6k drone from Autel Robotics I was intrigued by its terrific specs. I did as much research on it as I could and was so impressed that I decided to take a chance and buy it. I have only had the EVO-2 Pro 6K drone for a few days now and because of bad weather have only been able to in get a few flights, but I am blown away at the quality of the camera in both the still images and the video! I also think that the drone flies fantastically. On the down side, the controller is awkward in my hands and makes very precisely controlled flights difficult for me. With my Galaxy S10 cell phone attached to the controller it is very back heavy. I fly all my remote aircraft using the "pinching" method where I hold both the sticks between my thumb and index finger. The way that Autel’s controller is configured and the unbalance of it makes this very difficult so I had to rig up a lanyard attached to the controller that I can put around my neck to help support the controller in my hands. I’m hoping that in the near future, Autel may design a type of tray assembly for people who are used to flying with a tray type set up that they can buy as an accessory for a reasonable price. There are a few small bugs still in the firmware that need to be ironed out, but they are very minor ones which should be easily correctable. Another BIG reason that I chose this drone from Autel is because they do not take “control” of the drone that I paid for to limit where I can and can’t fly. I am a grown adult, responsible for my actions and don’t need “big brother” looking over my shoulder telling me where I can & can’t fly like some other drone companies do. Autel would be wise to keep their firmware this way as it is a big reason why many people will buy their product, along with the fact that their EVO-2 Pro 6k drone is an outstanding aerial photography platform. The bottom line is that I could not be happier that I bought this drone! The photos & video from it are everything I have dreamed of for a long time.     • This is the drone (UAS) I've been waiting for!!!
I have been a drone pilot for about 5 years now. I fly some for fun but mainly fly professionally for work (mainly real estate photography) shooting mainly stills with some short video clips thrown in. Before this Evo II Pro, I'd used about 5 different model drones from various companies including a couple from that "Other" well known company. Most did get the job done. That said, I have to say that this Autel Evo gets the job done better than any of the others ever did. The camera is fantastic and I can use the jpegs right out of camera. And the Flying! The Evo really is great! It is stable even in some pretty high wind. It's very responsive to input, going precisely where I want it to go and staying the - rock steady - until I move for the next shot. It is capable of some smooth and steady video even flying and shooting full manual. The controller is a very good size and feels just right. Even though I do connect a tablet, I like the extra information on the controller screen and the bonus of being able to see my flight/shots on that screen should I have a tablet problem. While I may not recommend that this professional level drone be someones first drone, it is easy enough to learn to fly and then get great photos and video so that, even a beginner could start with this, and then probably never want any other brand. I highly recommend the Evo II Pro 6K both as a professional workhorse and as an excellent hobbyest choice as well. ... show more
