The tool itself is great, but I'm more impressed with the tech support. Mine come registered in someone else name for some reason. Everything seemed to be new and still wrapped in all the plastic and everything. But when I went to register it it said it was already registered. Couple of emails later and they had in all swapped over. Great company to work with! Would definitely buy from them again! ... show more

This scan tool packs a lot of features in a very competitive price but the biggest flaw for me is how inconsistent the database is regarding identifying control modules. As a mechanic that gets paid on commission, I need to be able to identify problems within control modules as fast as possible. For certain vehicles (Mazda CX-9 pictured), all control modules will only be listed by an icon and an abbreviation of the control module. This slows diagnosing work way down because different manufacturers call their control modules different things and you either have to reference the service manuals to identify abbreviations or you have to blindly enter each module to see what it actually is. This is not an issue for common modules such as PCM/ECM, ABS, SRS, and BCM but when you're looking for blind spot monitoring modules, parking assist modules, infotainment modules, lane assist modules, and such.... it's very inconvenient to be looking through a list of abbreviations that change from car to car. I tried another scan tool on the same Mazda CX-9 and it was able to display the full name of all modules. Other vehicles (GMC Acadia pictured) show all the module listed by full names.
