I bought this because of the high protection rating and the advanced noise filtration. This is protecting a ceiling-mounted TV, and with the outlet in the ceiling, having the ability to screw the protector to the outlet was critical. The screw included with the unit was long and it worked perfectly. The screw hole comes with a cover, which is an added plus. The other requirement was side-mounted plugs, since plugs on the face would fall out over time. Even large(ish) bricks fit fine. The addition of a power switch is an added bonus, as most on-wall protectors exclude that. The only negative is the brightness of the indicator lights. While a beautiful blue, there are three of them and they are distracting at night. I covered them with electrical tape to solve the issue.

Works well and it didn’t hurt to have the two usb connects. It’s not on the level of my AudioQuest PowerQuest 3- 8 outlet (2-4/8k dedicated outlets, two dedicated High Current outlets) the Astere I believe didn’t limit power like some do. My Project turn table and two Kef LS50 Meta’s that run off of this out key found fantastic. My Set up- On a dedicated 15amp AudioQuest NRG outlet with 12 gauge premium wiring to the circuit box, I have a iFi powerx 12V adapter going to my turntable, an iFi ACipfifer plugged into open outlet to further reduce the sound stage and then each wireless speaker. Beautiful.

Realmente en mi caso noté la diferencia positiva pues en mi apartamento hay muchos empates electricos y el electricista que trabajo parece que tenia prisa y de un circuito eléctrico sacaba como 10 receptáculos eléctricos creando un desbalance en energía donde la distorsión reinaba por todos lados.Como es un sitio privado pues no podia cambiar el sistema electrico asi que gaste dinero probando algunos protectores y acondicionadores eléctricos y este modelo fue el único que produjo un audio más limpio en mi equipo.
