Perfect for what I needed
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
This is a replacement unit. The 1st shredder lasted 5 years. I only had to replace it because someone (not me) shredded self adhesive address labels through it and got it so jammed up I could not clear the jam. It fits on all the sizes of trash cans I own making it very versatile for my uses. It is a little noisy but that does not bother me.

A Game-Changer in My Daily Routine!
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
This professional strip-cut paper shredder has become an indispensable part of my life. It's truly amazing – I can't imagine living without it. While it doesn't come with a bin, the workaround is simple: just slot it over any bin lying around, and voila, you've got an instant shredding bin! 🌟 Pros: Convenient Setup: Easily fits over any bin for hassle-free shredding on the go. Longevity: This shredder has proven to be a durable workhorse, lasting for an extended period. 👎 Cons: Replacement Blade Challenge: The only real downside is the replacement blade. Despite trying shredder lube and paper, it doesn't seem to improve the blades' performance. Eventually, a complete replacement becomes necessary. 💸 Cost Consideration: Given the shredder's impressive longevity, I don't mind the cost of a replacement blade every two years. It's a small price to pay for the continuous efficiency this shredder provides. In summary, the Aurora AU800SD is a must-have for anyone in need of reliable shredding. Its convenience, longevity, and efficient performance make it a worthwhile investment, even with the occasional blade replacement. 📄🔐✨"

A POWERFUL SHREDDER!
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
I am very pleasantly surprised by this shredder. It is actually appears to be more powerful than the super heavy clunky one I have that I purchased years ago from office supply store. Although this one doesn't shred to tiny confetti size (it makes long strips of the paper), its fine with me. It looks nearly impossible to try to put the pieces back together..... wait.... there was a film where they had a whole office full of foreign government workers trying to do that! That was a very funny scene. For the price, easy mobility, compact size and convenience this is very very good. It has a retractable handle so that you could lay it across any size waste basket pretty much. I bought a cheap waste basket, laid out across top and shred into it, then all goes into recycling bin. Easy... I've had this for a few months now and it hasn't overheated at all, even when I shredded alot at once. I do not use it everyday though, so others considering this one may need something different. This is a really good buy, in my opinion. It works for me!

Good portable shredder
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
This is the third shredder I've owned in several years. When my last one broke, I didn't want to have to recycle yet another complete shredder or send it to the landfill. I took a chance on this, using it with the base/trash can part of my prior shredder. I've had it a year and it still works. It has some nice features, like you can expanded it to fit over different size trash cans if you have a lot to shred. I've been using it to get rid of years of paper bills, as most bills are digital now. The sound is not too bad. It's actually quieter than prior shredders. A bonus is that it also shreds old cds/dvds and credit cards. Love that feature. I've used it a lot with little to no over-heating. That being said, when it overheats, a red light comes on and you have to wait a few minutes. That's okay. All in all it beats hiring a shredding service.

I love my little printer, especially not haveing to deal with HP shutting down my printer from their offices because they didn’t get their 20 bucks out of me that month.

Man, what a buy! Cut out space on 55 gallon garbage can and put in place. Great shredder you don’t have to empty every week!!

LOVE IT ♥️ Is quieter (not quiet) & smoother feed
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
Really great quality & under $30! Fits perfectly on my canister style kitchen trash can. Is definitely quieter than previous 2 shreddders, also has a smoother feed & shed operation. Really pleasantly surprised. Last shredder made little pces that were always on floor so went back to strips (am not shredding top secret docs 😄) and voila! - no mess. Great for packing material too.

Still shredding after all these years🎵
Size: 15 centimetres
Style: 8-sheet StripCut w/o basket
This portable shredder has been going strong for 7 years now. It can handle several pages at a time as well as credit cards and CDs. I bought it to place over a large 13 gallon container so I can shred a large volume of material before having to empty it. It also has a jam remover button as well as a reverse feature in the unlikely event that something gets stuck. A great shredder at a great price.
