The kit is exactly what I wanted. For the price, some of it being plastic is expected. It has a very sturdy tripod for the light and a good bright 12" light with many settings. It is sufficient for my needs. The phone mounts are easy to use and hold my phone steady. The fob that pairs with my cell phone and the mic mount are very nice bonuses. I like that there are two places for my camera/cell phone. I've been taking top down pictures with this and I really like that I can aim the camera and the light straight down for the pictures. This is versatile which I really appreciate. The only complaint is that some of the parts are plastic and I worry about them stripping but again, with the price point - $40 range, it's expected. My setup will stay in the position it's in for a long while and I will baby it and not tighten those plastic parts too tight, to lengthen the life of equipment. I'm very happy with with this being added to my setup. I took down my desk mount top down arm because of this and also let me remove two other smaller ring lights and it gave a great new option for the mic placement. I'm happy and would buy again.

The first time I ordered this it came broken. The ring light would not light up. I contacted the company and they were will to send a replacement but they didn't currently have any, so I did a return with Amazon. The second ring light from Amazon works great! I've very happy with it. The tripod has 3 legs that are adjustable and seem very sturdy and strong to me. Everything is adjustable and it goes to about 6 feet tall where your phone would be. You can also use the tripod with the phone holder and not the ring light, or the ring light and not the phone holder. The spring on the phone holder is strong and holds my phone great. The ring light is nice and bright, with different shades and it can be dimmed down very low. It has a very nice range. It also comes with a remote to take pictures. This is super handy and works great. I have no complaints at all. Very nice product, especially for the price.

This tripod is exactly what I was hoping for. It looks just like the pictures and feels really sturdy, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. The ring light is bigger than most I’ve seen, which makes a huge difference in lighting for videos and photos. It was super easy to adjust and set up, and I love that it even comes with a self button/remote, which makes taking pictures or filming by myself so much easier. I use it for everything—get ready with me videos, hairstyles, and regular pictures—and it hasn’t disappointed me once. For the price, it’s an amazing value and I highly recommend it. Now the cord could be a little longer cause once you start going high and it can get really high depending how tall you make it, battery life kinda sucks though bc you have to have it plugged in in order to work but if your looking for cordless don’t get this but I really like this with the cord it can get annoying sometimes but other than that I love it!!!!

I was really looking forward to trying out the Aureday 12" Ring Light with its magnetic phone holder and tripod. The product offers some great features, but unfortunately, it wasn't perfect. Here's a breakdown of my experience with pros and cons: Pros: Dimming and Color Options: The ring light provides 5 color temperature settings and 10 brightness levels, which is fantastic for adjusting to different lighting conditions. Whether you're recording videos, doing makeup tutorials, or just need extra light, this is one of its standout features. Sturdy Tripod: The 62-inch tripod is quite stable and sturdy, extending from 24.8" to 62", which is a great range for different heights and angles. It offers solid support for the ring light and your phone, making it versatile for content creation and vlogging. Magnetic Phone Holder: The strong magnetic mount is convenient for attaching your phone. It’s especially useful for iPhone 12 and newer models with MagSafe. The metal plates included work well with other phone cases, ensuring a secure attachment. Wireless Remote: The included Bluetooth remote is a game-changer for taking photos or recording videos from a distance. It works seamlessly with both Android and iOS devices, and I really appreciated being able to shoot without needing someone else to help.
