    • Rich looking chandelier
This is a beautiful flush mount crystal chandelier lit by an array of LEDs. The base is made from a polished piece of stainless steel that reflects the crystals and the light, making it look rich even the light is off. The colors of the LEDs can be changed by switching the light on and off. I would have preferred a switch inside the controller since it is easy to accidentally change the color if I turn the light on and off within a few seconds. The light comes very well packaged, with small compartments cuts out to hold each hanging crystal, which were also each individually wrapped in plastic. There was a single sheet of paper that looked more like a schematic than real installation instructions. Nothing step by step, it was just all trial and error. Here are the steps that I figured out. I used a pair of rubber gloves to avoid getting fingerprints on any parts and don’t have to clean it after installation. First, I had to install each crystal using the king ring type hoops. Not hard, but tedious to do 48 times. I had 2 left over, which is nice to have as backups. Four chrome plated posts have to be screwed into the metal housing. You will not be able to do this if you attach the housing to the ceiling first. Again, there was an extra post leftover. I removed the existing ceiling light, then installed the included metal bracket into the ceiling housing. Although not necessary, I found some washers to use since the screw heads are rather small and I didn’t want to risk them slipping off the bracket. The washers are not included. I think the bracket is on the thin side for hanging a heavy light, and there was some bending after the installation that showed a small gap between the housing and the ceiling because of this. I did not have someone help me because I could only get one ladder onto the top of the staircase I was installing this. I used 2 S-hooks to hang the housing to the bracket while wiring, then pushed the housing up to the ceiling and secured the 2 screws on the sides of the housing. Finally, I secured the glass plate with the bonded crystals to the 4 posts using the included chrome plated screws. Turning the light on, it looks stunning for a relatively small crystal chandelier. Overall, this is a very nice looking light that I will never have to change light bulbs on. It looks rich, and punches way above its price. ... show more

    • Good Quality! Very aesthetically pleasing and has good value!
This fixture looks more complicated than it is to put together. I ordered it for my moms dining room to replace a very tacky plastic chandelier. I have some electrical experience so was able to figure out the connections easily. If the fixture you're replacing is from newer construction it can be easy even without experience if you follow the instructions. However, if the electrical box is filled with more than just "end wires" for the fixture or it is an old connection with old wires than a professional or someone with extensive electrical experience will be needed. No matter who does the installation it is always recommended to turn off the breaker that is sourcing the power to that fixture. This ensures you will not have electricity existing when performing any work. In any case the fixture itself is not too big or small. The bulbs that fit can be different wattage depending on your preference and whether or not you want it to provide a lot or only a little light. You can also establish a different hue depending on cool white or warm white bulbs. Look into everything before hand... the fixture is very sleek with good colors and the construction of it is of good quality! I like the look and feel and it does fit flush to the ceiling or surface you will mount it on! ... show more

This light fixture is not ready to hang, you have to assemble it first, see photos. After assembly it is pretty. The "crystals" are not the highest quality and the hanging pieces feel like plastic. You will have to put them on the outside of the square piece of glass one piece at a time, hanging them from the little metal loops (see photos). I have to get someone to put this up for me so I can't comment on the brightness but I am excited to see it lit up. I think the light is going to make this really sparkle. ... show more

The hanging bits are all packed nicely in Styrofoam so they are nice and secure. But you have to attach them all by hand during installation so that is a bear. Other than that it is a very nice looking LED light and definitely looks like it's more expensive than it is.

    • Fancy looking, love the color temperature options
I like the mirrored base, that's the start of the fanciness. The crystal bottom part is also luxurious and gives the light a wonderful sparkle. The hanging pieces are acrylic and feel cheap in your hand. They are also very fiddly to affix to the light. There are metal loops on the mirrored base, and a flimsy keychain type hoop on the dangle. You have to open the keychain hoop to thread it through the small and moving loops on the base. But once they are attached, they give a satisfying clink against each other which made me double check they weren't glass. The finished effect is lovely and it works with my dimmable switch. I am able to toggle the different color temperatures between soft and daylight, but can't see a difference from the 2nd option to the 3rd option. Pros: The light comes packaged very well. Every single "crystal" is individually wrapped. The K9 crystals are very light and feel like plastic, so no fear of breaking them. The light looks beautiful when installed, and does what it says. You can choose from warm or super white light. Cons: Really the only con is the lack of instructions. If you know how to install light fixtures, you'll be fine but if you don't know, you may need someone to help you. The light color switches by turning the light on and off quickly.
