The media could not be loaded. Sceptical about these mantles, my other mantles never had issues with dark areas on the mantle. I am on my third one trying to figure out why the dark spots are there. The third one is better, but still one side is darker than the opposite side. My generator and tank are clean, and using new fuel. I am not liking these mantles. Maybe a bad batch? Update! I ran lantern for over an hour and the dim spots have all disappeared. Weird, but third time is a charm! Maybe these have to break in? ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I run these on all of my 500CP single mantles and they’re great. Coleman doesn’t offer this size anymore so the pickings are slim but these are durable, quality mantles that don’t instantly get holes during the burn in like some other brands. Pictured is my 1951 model 236 with this mantle. I also use them on model 237’s. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR DMALL SINGLE MANTLE MODELS LIKE THE 200a AND 242. ALSO DO NOT BUY THESE FOR MOST DOIBLE MANTLES LIKE THE 220 or 228’s. These are too hot for those models and will not perform like you expect. Those models use Coleman #21 mantles or equivalent. ... show more
