These speakers sound incredible. Best car speakers I've ever owned. I thought my MBQuart speakers in my 2000 Superduty were nice. These blow them away for 33% less than what I paid for those in 2000. Installed these in my 21' STI w/the HK factory system. No issues at all. They fit and have a nice warm, present sound even on the factory amp. I do have the Idoing head unit though. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great mids! I replaced all the door and dash speakers in my truck. I have the bass and highs, but I wanted solid mods as well. These really bring it all together. I never spent money on dedicated mids, and now I realize how much they contribute to the overall sound quality. Installed in Kia Sorento dashboard instead OEM. Sounds much better, but I've connected to aftermarket amp (Match UP 10DSP) No need something extra to fix it.

    • MOUNTING OPTIONS UNLIKE ANY OTHER SPEAKER. FANTASTIC SOUND.

Fantastic. Have these powered via an aftermarket audio unit utilizing the OEM speaker wire originally for the OE door speakers. These were installed as a NON-EXISTENT midrange driver in a Subaru Impreza (accomplished by large holes in door panels haha…yikes). Instead of the factory supplied ~250uF capacitor’s utilized as “bass blockers”, instead I made (customized in order to maintain correct frequency bandwidths to correspond with the lower impedance) passive bandpass filters installed inline before each speaker to supplement the front sound stage. Both sound phenomenal. Yes, I could purchase a DSP and wire that in. And I gladly will if anyone wants to send me the $$. The lower impedance of these makes excellent work of the thin factory wiring, the mounting options; specifically the recessed machined threads, open up endless possibilities for mounting these that other speakers simply do not have. The grilles fit very well; even with the booming sound coming from separately amplified door speakers, and separately amplified subwoofers. 10/10, would buy again & again. ... show more
