  • pretty solid
these are just the ATH-M50X, which is alright. but the mic combination makes it very good. if I had to recommend a headset, it would be this. while the ATH-M50X does not have the best signature in the range for producing, it is excellent for video games

  • Great
This is very nice product. I had before the non mic version of this and was impressed so I had to try the one with the mic. Voice comes in very clear when streaming or broadcasting. The audio is on point of sound rich and clear as well to. The cord came get in the way at time but you get uses to it and find a way to keep it out of your way after awhile of owning it. Only draw back is depending what you uses for recording or living streaming ext. is that the mic picks up everything in the background. This a give though since the type of mic it has. Overall its very well built. ... show more

  • Works Great With An Audio Mixer!
I love that the mic on this mixer comes with an XLR cable attached! I use a Rodecaster Duo and bought this headset so I can use a quality mic when racing without a microphone boom in my face. So far, I've managed to do one stream on Twitch and Kick with the new headset and no complaints! The audio quality is great for me! If I were to change anything about this headset, I'd want a longer/detachable cable. Otherwise, this headset is perfect for my needs. I can't think of any other product on the market of this quality that works well with an audio mixer like the Rodecaster. I managed to stream and talk with the headset pretty loud in my ear on iRacing and there was no feedback whatsoever on the mic. ... show more

  • Best headphones I've ever own'd
Compared to $70 headphones I had these sound a lot cleaner. Voice stays clear in music and when other sounds are playing. Unlike my old headphones. The XLR mic isn't the easiest to work with if your not knowledgeable about it, still working on getting it to work with my setup. I'm using a AE-5 sound card set to 32 bit 192kHz output. For a more painless solution use a audio interface that has XLR built in or a AE-9 creative sound card has XLR built in. If you don't need the mic buy the headphones that don't have it. update: I'm now using it with a scarlette solo usb audio interface at 192kHz 24 bit (max settings on it). Gets rid of the emf noise I was getting with my sound card as it converts the mic to digital before it gets sent to the pc. ... show more

  • Phenom Headset but...
It was a little heavy to wear and unfortunately I bought the one with XLR analog stereo connection instead of a more common connection. But for the short time I used it, I could tell it was quality.

  • Good Headset but...
Great sounding headset, but the mic that is built into it stopped working a couple months in. There is absolutely no sound coming from the microphone at all. The headset sounds great out the box and with some tuning it sounds even better. In order to send in the headset to be repaired even before warranty, the company wants you to pay to send it off. That is also before knowing if your issue is under warranty or not which the Audio Technica is happy to tell you they will charge you to get it worked on. Overall good sound but you cannot rely on the company to assist with any issues you might have. ... show more

  • Decent but not worth the price
If you're using the average headset this will probably be a little better. However there are better alternatives that are less expensive. The microphone was above average at best.. better than the average headset mic but not as good as solutions like a modmic or boom pro. Since this is geared as replacing a large mic for streamers I don't think the mic quality is adequate. The audio quality of the headphones are ok, I wasn't really impressed and doesn't really compare to the fidelio x2hr. The problem I think is the price, if the mic was better maybe it would have been worth it... maybe. I would just go with a boompro on a decent set of headphones instead. ... show more
