I felt bad for always borrowing my boyfriends tools for my jewelry making. So I ordered this set and it comes with everything I need for wire crafting. I like the carrying case it comes with. It keeps everything accessible and organized. Highly recommend if you need a good set of tools for crafting.

I'm not sure on the exact gauge on this wire but it's very fine and bendy alumnium wire. I am ordering thicker wire. Would make more sense to include a range of gauges than multiple colors for a starter pack. The photo of the ring is deceiving, it's really flimsy due to the wire gauge and it needs to be work hardened, which you can't do with this kit. I used four wires to make the band. I just finished a metalsmithing class want to try wire wrapping to build some skills. I'd like to eventually have a metalsmithing set up but I don't have the proper space right now. The tools seem OK but small. The ring mandrel is mostly just good for finding on the size of a ring, not for shaping a ring or work hardening a ring. Everything doesn't fit in the case which is frustrating. There is no need for pliers with this wire because it's too fine. Anyway ordering a ring mandrel and some thicker gauge wire. If I was to do this again I would probably not order this set.
