If I could, I'd rate this mixer even higher. It has been so nice having it vs a hand mixer. I researched other mixers that are quote "the perfect mixer" and when I compared them to this one - this mixer, for me, came out on top when it came to solid reviews, it being lightweight yet stable with the suction cups on the bottom (psst - be careful to not squish your fingers when lifting), the size (I opted for a larger size for growth in my baking), capacity, speed and price. Plus, the red is so pretty and vibrant. Love it!!! I've used it to mix my sourdough, make cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. It has made things easier for me which I love! ... show more

Nice machine, feels sturdy and appears as advertised. I like that there are not a ton of button as I intend on using it for basic mixing and kneading. The bowl locks into the base of the machine to keep it from moving around and there are suction feet on the bottom that keep the machine itself from moving on the countertop. I bought this when yet another kitchenaid blew up on me. In all honesty I bought this with pretty low expectations of what I would get. But I have been pleasantly surprised. This is well over a year old now and believe me when I tell you I have straight up abused this thing and somehow it just keeps going. It's the little mixer that could. If you are looking for a decent mixer without spending several hundred dollars I would recommend this. As expected, some of the things do just have a cheaper feel to them. There is also a decent amount of flex in the mixer, although it doesn't seem to be all that affected by it. The hinged latch can be kind of finicky when mixing things like dough, and at higher speeds it doesn't do a great job of staying put by itself. ... show more

Nice mixer for home, I like the quality of the attachments, and ease of use, it mixes fast and efficient. It's lightweight, and easily fits under the counter. It's good to use the guard, cleaning is simple, and the pretty blue light on the dial just makes me happy.
