This is what is advertised. It works well and it's convenient. However, I'm not super impressed with the button action. It's just a tactile thing. They work okay, but I'm just being picky about how it feels to press the buttons.

Pros: 1) It is rechargeable and solar powered, too. No need to be changing batteries. 2) It is just the right size for me, not too large nor too small. The numbers are big enough for me to see; 3) Comes with a stylus and an LCD writing board. Cons: 1) It is not too easy to see your writing on the writing board and for me, it is not really useful. The calculator would be good enough without the writing board. I LIKE IT.

Simple calculator with note/jotting display. I thought it would be useful for gas mileage calculations or notes in the car. The writing on the display is in yellow with the background dark. I realize my phone can do all of this, but this might be nice for a quick list or when you leave your phone behind. It is not too big and the yellow will make it harder to lose. It has a USB A to USB C cable for charging, but with the solar panel I am not sure it will be necessary. It came on and everything worked without charging when I received it.

had to take a test at a testing center, and no programable calculators are allowed. the ones the offer are so worn that the numbers are all missing. well this is large and easy to read and the scratch pad built on the side is great for doing math or drawing things out on which is handy. they did end up allowing it after a minute or two and calling their supervisor. built well and i ended up liking it more than i expected. has now become the office lucky calculator that each person takes with them to test with and even signs the back after each pass. maybe made for kids, but used by adult Bule collar guys.

The media could not be loaded. This calculator has many arithmetic features for pre and early algebra work. The the stylis pad can be handy for quick notes and drawings to aid a solution. It is rechargeble and has a solar panel. The stylis pad is not illuminated so the battery should hold up well, but you need light to see the writing. It charges with the USB-C cord supplied or any standard cord.

My son needs a calculator for summer school and the yellow caught my eye. The buttons are large and easy to see. The #1 key looks a bit rotated but not a big deal. The writing pad is very handy but the delete button is not at a good place so you can accidentally clear your notes and there's no way to bring it back.

The calculator performs basic arithmetic functions plus (per the instructions) "rounding and profit/loss calculations." The calculator runs primarily off the built-in rechargeable battery, but can operate off solar power if needed. The notepad/tablet side operates on the same type of tech as the Boogie Board, so you can write on it using the included stylus or with the tip of your fingernail. Space is limited of course, making it handy for jotting some quick notes, but anything you want to save you'll need to snap a picture of with your mobile phone as there's no way to save or export your writing from the device. Like a Boogie Board, you can lock it from being accidentally erased or written over, if you do need to save something but don't have a way to capture it right away. Included in the package is a charging cable and a set of stickers that makes it clear the intended user is an elementary school student, if the bright yellow case and multicolored buttons weren't enough, but anyone who needs a calculator should find this a decent one with the benefit of the attached electronic notepad/tablet.
