Hanging canoe
Color: Black Item Display Length: 50.0 Feet
We got this to hang up a canoe in the garage. It's been a year and it's still going strong lol. Excellent durability and the color is nice lol bthe ripe is thick and holds a knot well.

Stiff but strong. 550 is right for most things!
Knotability isn't the best. This stuff is like 4g wire but it's pretty awesome in that you could hang a Smart car from it if necessary. I had 100ft of some cheap dollar store line when I couldn't find 550 or 1100 paracord after cutting up my tarp lines for something and it sagged so bad even TRIPLED up and tensioned with all sorts of advanced rope techniques. I am trained in both Swiftwater rescue and crevasse rescue so I can set up some descent rope systems to get the slack out of a system. The cheapo cord was like Gold Line of the olden days of climbing. Basically a rubber band. I tend to over compensate so this was paracord on steroids. I just set a Ridge line with a munter on one side on did an MMO to lock out the slack. Could have hung my Hammock off it. Had I gotten fancy with pulleys and stuff, Smart Car for sure. But all I had hanging off it was some clothing, battery operated lanterns and maybe a sleeping bag. ... show more

This stuff great!!
Color: Od Item Display Length: 50.0 Feet
Stronger and better than I thought, -WARNING-THIS CORD IS NOT FOR CLIMBING OR REPPELING-But iv been experimenting with it at around 20ft.for reppeling with a waist harness and figure 8 to test if it would be good emergency escape reppeling cord from a 2nd or 3rd floor building to escape a fire ,active shooter etc,. It's more than exceeded my expectations and I'm 6'1" 240lbs and no problems, if you have sum reppeling training, great cord.DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME,WARNING-ITS NOT REPPELING ROPE. And 50' a figure 8,carabiner and small emergency harness and gloves dosent take up alota room in a brief case ,backpack or medium/large purse or to have stashed in your office .this is not rated for climbing, reppeling or a safety line..I will be buying this battle cord for each of my security crew!ALSO PLEASE DO NOT REPPEL OR CLIMB WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND PROPER EQUIPMENT. ... show more

LOVE this stuff!
I've used this while camping to hold up large tarps, for tie downs for hauling stuff in the truck, for tying off my canoe, and as a thin but durable small anchor line. I'm sure I'll come up with other uses as well. It is a bit tough to get a tight knot in it - a couple of times I've used a small pair of visegrips to cinch it up - but, at least for me, the fact that this has replaced thicker rope while increasing strength is a big plus that overshadows the knot issue. My only real regret is that Atwood doesn't offer this in *reasonable* bulk spools. I emailed the company about it and the only option they offered was 4000 feet for $690. I love this cord, but thought 500 or 1000 feet might have been nice to have, not 3/4 of a mile. The picture is a dogbone line adjuster made from 5/8ths aluminum rod. Perfect for the tarp setup. ... show more

Super Duty Paracord
So this is basically super-duty paracord. It's a bit stiff out of the box but man is it great to use. For those of us who have used paracord for years, you'll know that it tends to be a tangled mess from time to time. Not only is this basically a giant strand of paracord, the added stiffness of the sheath makes it a dream to work with. I've used this for ridgelines and loads of hammock setups where i'm extending some major distances between trees. It has held up amazingly well and its semi-dynamic stretch factor has made it super durable. I regularly employ truckers' hitches on the end of the run and you can really winch the tension up. I've found it to be remarkable steadfast even on a very long hammock run full of kids swinging the thing as much and as far as they could. I have a 25' length of this stuff in each of my backpacks now, and a longer hank of it in each of my cars and emergency kits. I'm a believer and will be ordering much more. Not only is it super tough and easy to use, but its also fairly light so adding some added piece of mind to your kit, won't weigh you down. Oh and breaking this down to utilize the inner cords is a bonus. I've not done this yet, but due to the heavier gauge of the strands, I imagine it will be more easily manipulated than broken down 550-cord which gets pretty squirrelly and difficult to manage especially if your trying to build snare traps with it... All in all I'm impressed and this fine tool has found a place in my outdoor and survival systems. Order some and check it out. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

Badass stuff!
Color: Black Item Display Length: 50.0 Feet
It's all I wanted it to be and more. Some reviewers i saw complained it was too stiff and thick for their knots to be tight. Not sure what they're tying, or.why they aren't adding stopper knots if that's their issue. But I was super.impressed at how NOT stiff this rope was. And all the knots I tried ended up awesome and secure. Not only that, but it's actually possible to untie them too. Granted I haven't put a serious load.on this rope yet. But this is definitely some of the nicest affordable bang for.the buck stuff I've seen. It's thick, but not really that much thicker than paracord. ... show more

Very heavy and definitely strong
Color: Ground War Item Display Length: 50.0 Feet
This cord is super tough stuff. I’ve used it as tie down material in a pinch, and also used it to hoist game animals for processing when I’m out in the field. You never know when you’ll need some rope, and this is small enough to keep in my truck’s center console for when a random need arises. Standard 550 is great and all, but it just can’t compare with this stuff in actual use. Even when a safety factor of 4 is used, its working load limit is STILL more than 100lbs higher than the absolute tensile strength of 550. It’s definitely thicker and much stiffer, but it’s never made it a problem to use. Truth be told, I will likely not mess with 550 anymore. ... show more

Cut to lengths and melted ends for pop up tent hold downs. Easy to thread and knot and very strong. Looks good too.
