I’m a big guy with fairly long arms. Jackets are often shorter in the sleeves than I like. This one is a tad longer than usual tall fit in the sleeves but the overall fit is nice and roomy and hsngs and fits nicely! This is not the first Carhartt jacket I have owned, (the last one was still going strong except it was stained with oil and other fuel products from my last job...) I expect this jacket will probably last me a lifetime if i dont get it stained or damaged somehow! Great jackets that are made to wear and last! Great coat with exception of pockets. Outside pockets small and inside pockets difficult to get into with gloves on. But the day after I received it, the outside temperature was 18 with a chill factor below 0 and I had to be outside quite a bit. Stayed toasty warm and comfortable. As far as sizing goes, I wear a 3XLT, but bought a 4XLT because of the next comment. Should have gone with the 3XLT. I am a big man (6'2 tall and 310 lbs. The 4XLT hung on me but I kept it because I found I enjoy a little extra room in a jacket. Highly recommended for low cost and performance. ... show more

I bought this for my son. He is 6'4 and weighs about 300 lbs. He usually wears a 3 x in tall but after reading the reviews I sized up. I am real glad I did. The jacket is roomy enough he could ware a sweat shirt under it with no problem, yet still fits great just with a T-shirt as well. I bought it in the black and when I asked him if he likes it he said: No......I LOVE THIS JACKET. He told me this was his new "Date " jacket..The black color does dress Up this style and looks great on a tall, bigger man. I would recommend this jacket. It makes a great gift ! ... show more

I bought this jacket years ago, after the years and the jobs i've done, the jacket became worn with holes. I searched for years for a good replacement, I found nothing that fit like this jacket. I found it here and bought the LXT... It's 2 inches longer in the arms and trunk. As long as I can buy this model and size, I will probly buy another so, once this one wears out I wont be without one again. It's a good work jacket, plenty of room to wear another fleece or flannel jacket in case it gets bitterly cold. ... show more

This jacket is friggin’ awesome... I’m a pretty tall fella weighing roughly 260lbs. It is super hard to find quality jackets in 4XL-5XL that don’t cost more than $100.
