This is a good product but don't be deceived... it is not rated for climbing. That said, it has been a great general utility rope.

I purchased this rope due in part to the listed strength, and the fact that it was made in the USA, so I was disappointed to find when it arrived that the safe working load limit was fully 1/10 of the advertised weight capacity for this rope (see photo of tag). I was certainly expecting the safe working load to be significantly stronger than 550 paracord, and my only reason for not returning it is my intended use is for hanging game, so it is not all that essential for its weight capacity to be so high (I will primarily use this for whitetail deer). -1 star for not listing safe working load in posting and -1 star for working load being so low. After I get a chance to use the rope I’ll update this review if I encounter any issues.

TL;DR: - Great low-elongation rope. Lots of value. - If you have a dog, have a bottle of skunk odor remover on standby at all times. Perfect for what I need. It's considered a low-elongation or static rope, which is perfect for my zig zag fence setup to prevent my dog from smashing through the screen window to get to skunk in the middle of the night. My German Shepherd got in fight with skunk twice in the past 2 years. Both times were in the middle of the night!?!?! (BTW, anyone that has a dog, even if there is only a small chance of it getting sprayed by skunk, should have a backup bottle of skunk odor remover readily available!!!!!!!!!) Usually, Macho is good with staying inside the house, even if squirrel or neighbor's cat are taunting him. For some reason, Macho can't stand skunk and worst yet, it DOESN'T LEARN from past experience, and continues to chase it and end up getting sprayed, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, again. In short, I used the rope along with padeyes and made a rope fence by zigzagging the rope. It works perfectly. We can continue to keep the window open at night, and don't have to worry about Macho storming through the screen window.

This is a stiff rope has very little creep and is very strong it is also small in diameter but still easy to grip.

Good utility rope. Not certified climbing rope. I was happy with the quality, so I ordered a 2nd one. It was a different green color. I don't care, but it may matter to others.
