  • Good Quality
Size: 5' x 25' Color: Brown
Good Quality and easy to work with, I'm 62 yrs old and did this myself. I did use 2"x1"x 8' trim wood cut to size, (painted them black to match mesh) to frame and secure top part of mesh to wrap around porch's post. I also need to put in a metal 7' fence post by the building to secure the mesh to. Looks nice and Mesh fence also helps block the heat from the sun. ... show more

  • Great for blocking dogs at the fence line.
Size: 5' x 50' Standard Size Color: Beige
I used this on a wooden fence. I zip tied it at the grommets along the sections where the 2x4’s face my side (see photo). I thumb tacked it at the sides where just boards face me. It was windy here last night and it held up fine. Im sure the thumb tacks aren’t ideal and I will find something more sturdy, but it works for now. A new neighbor moved in next door and we both have dogs. As a responsible dog mom I’m trying to be the better neighbor, so I’m taking the initiative to do what I can to block dog fighting at the fence. They let their little dog bark all day long, and they have children who sometimes tease the dogs. I have large breeds who don’t like the B.S. The madness has to stop. I bought one of these 50 foot screens to test it out. I’m a small woman and I installed this by myself yesterday morning. I had a gloriously quiet Saturday afternoon. No dogs fighting at the fence and my dogs seem calmer with it up. I’m going to buy another one to finish the remaining length of the fence line which I currently have blocked with a 30 inch high garden fence. These screens are lightweight enough to install alone and they block sight lines really well. I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • 52' wide black chain link fence on a steep hill - Foliage Barrier & Privacy ...
Size: 5' x 50' Standard Size Color: Black
I purchased and installed two screens last Fall. I wanted to wait a season or two, before rating my experiences. I have a 5' high, 52' wide black chain link fence on a steep hill in the back of my property. There are tons of inaccessible weeds, tree starts and poison ivy on the other side that come through the fence every year. This screen has acted like a barrier and is working well, so far. The fact that it had to be doubled to fit the fence, did give me privacy, which was a bonus. I have a cop who lives behind me and likes to squat down by the fence line, pretending to pet his dog, as he STARES INTO THE WINDOWS. Other neighbors have complained about his looking in their windows, too. He also shines his high powered light down his property occasionally, which illuminates the inside of the bedroom windows at night. So this doubled screening really stops the bright light from blasting into the house windows. Pretty sure the "custom size" option wasn't available when I purchased this screen in Fall of 2016 - or I would have chosen the 52' length, instead of purchasing 2 - 50' screens and overlapped them for coverage. So I staggered these two screens, shorting each side 2 feet. Using only one screen does show shadows and light, so two are preferred, especially for privacy and (for me) to strengthen and keep out, what grows through the fence. Now that I see they have a custom sizing option, I will likely order one of the proper size and install it over the other two. I am hoping this one they send will not be the cheap shiny plastic version. Three layers of screen should totally keep out weed growth, as it is persistent and branches could poke through this barrier. I wondered why there were such wildly different reviews of this fence screen. Some said it was cheap plastic looking and semi-transparent, others said it was great looking. Now I know why the reviews are so different. The company has at least two different runs of this product. One is in fact a cheap looking shinier plastic - the other is a duller black woven canvas looking screen. The duller one is awesome looking. The shinier one is in fact cheap looking, like a landscaper's plastic. So you could receive one or the other....or in my case, I received one of each type of this screen. That was annoying. I didn't realize or expect them to be different, and after installing the first one (the nicest looking one), I had invested too much time and zip ties, to undo and remove the nicer one that no one would ever see. If I purchased replacements of this, I would definitely SEND BACK that cheap plastic looking version. BUYER BEWARE. It has held up to incredible winds without damage to itself or the fence. The winter was a mild one, so not sure how lots of long standing snow & ice would degrade the fabric. On a final note, I would like to comment about wildlife on the property. I had not considered what abuse this screen would experience, with birds, squirrels & raccoons. The squirrels are always zipping up and down the screen....but so far have not torn visible holes in it with their nails. I have seen muddy raccoon footprints on the screen as well, but they don't seem to come into the yard as much with the screen in place. They are likely unable to get a secure foot hold on the screen while attempting to scale the fence. I have seen birds hanging off of it, as well as leaving droppings. So far since Fall of 2016, it has endured without visible tears, rips or permanent stains. The screen seems worth the price to keep out invasive plant growth and have some privacy from my intrusive neighbor. Initially it isn't attractive after installing right out of the of the box. It has wrinkles and is a little wonky. It takes a little weathering to tighten up and become fluid looking. So the initial installation of this screen will look better after a few months of hot sun and wind. Here are some comparison photos of how it turned out with an overlapping application. ... show more

  • Well made.
Size: 5' x 20' Color: Green
Bought this screen to protect my dwarf citrus trees from winter wind and the heat that radiates off the driveway during the summer. Plan to install the same on the street-side facing fence to get some privacy in my garden. Tourists from the local Airbnbs stop to ask if this is a nursery, when it’s just a garden/ micro orchard. Don’t want to be rude, but like my quiet time in the garden. ... show more

  • Good, inexpensive solution for added privacy.
The house next door has a chain link fence directly beside their patio and, on our side, our deck and detached office. We lived with the lack of privacy for over 20 years, but when the house sold we decided that before the new neighbors moved in we'd finally do something about it. The screen is a vast improvement. Although it is still sheer enough to see through, there is no longer a feeling of being "on display" to the other yard. I was worried the green would be garish, but it's a nice deep color that's easy on the eyes. It seems well made. Overall, a good inexpensive solution for a little added privacy. ... show more

  • Nice product and comes with a boarder, eye loops and tie wraps
Size: 5' x 25' Color: Beige
I've had several shade screens made out of similar material. Price was right but in the Arizona heat they did not last very long (maybe 2-3 yrs ) I'm using this product on a double gate. The installation was easy and I have plenty of left over material when and if the sun takes it toll on the material? For the price can't beat the product. ... show more

  • Works best in the shade
Size: 5' x 50' Standard Size Color: Green
It worked well at first to give privacy between neighbors. We bought 3. The one in full sun is worn and torn in less than a year of being outside in the 4 seasons of weather changes. The ones in the shaded part of the yard are holding up just fine. Our neighbors liked them too. A lot less expensive then building a privacy fence. We bought the green color. ... show more
