Was installing an extra stereo and speakers I already had in my basement. These are decent quality and fit in between my ceiling joists great. The wiring on the inside was of very good quality. I also appreciate the spring loaded write terminals on the back.

The boxes themselves seem to be built well enough, but when I went to put my speakers in the hole is far too large. I had to use the speaker covers to hold them in. I tried putting them in my 91 f150 single cab but they just do not fit behind the seat. Going to have to modify them I suppose as I can't seem to find truck boxes this size. The hookup is nice, though. I like those ... show more

These are nice sturdy boxes and they work well with my 2 way speakers. I originally put subwoofers in these boxes and was not satisfied with the bass output - however, they are great with speakers that you don't want just bass from. I have them setup to my surround sound system now and am happy with the sound quality from my $10 2 way speakers. If you are looking to put 6 inch subwoofers in a box for straight bass I would go with something ported. ... show more

I was worried that the would be too big for my 65 Mustang Fastback. When the seat is up, the rear space is limited. The sizing in the description was very accurate...they fit perfect!! These are very well-built with nicely applied carpeting and the terminals are of good quality compared to some I've seen on other boxes. The only issue I had is that I bought 6.5" boxes and a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6.5" speakers and had to cut about a 1/4" thick ring from the area around the speaker making the diameter of the hole 1/2" bigger than it left the factory. I don't know if this is an issue with the boxes or if the Rockford Fosgate speaker baskets are maybe a little bigger than normal or what. Otherwise, these will work great on the rear wheel housings in my Jeep YJ. ... show more

These are really well made and are perfect for adding more mid bass being that it is hard to get door speakers to have that lil thump to go along the the deep bass notes of your trunk speakers. I currently have 2 Skar 6.5 mid range woofers in them and they sound great and everything that I have purchased from Skar Audio has been phenomenal and paired in these boxes even makes them sound cleaner at high volume.
