I feel like the app could use refinement and help since it crashes with some functions. But other than that I feel like the little printer delivers the expected results. I had a m08 and got this one because I hoped for a more stable connection and more battery life. I get a good connection now and the battery lasts even when I forget to charge it, so I got both things. It isn’t able to match the m08 in the small or light detail areas. But it does have decent print quality, just not as sharp. Better than the old thermofax by a mile.

I’m sure there are much better ones out there. But this thing is great. The app is easy to use, haven’t had any connection issues. It takes some getting used to printing your stencils, I’ve had a couple come out too dark. As for durability, I wouldn’t try a drop test on it, some pieces to feel like they good easily break. I recommend for your first printer.

I shopped around for close to six months for a stencil printer and kept coming back to this one. I was a little worried after reading a review in the App Store about the tattooprinter app because one user said he could print his own designs with it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that is not the case. Setup, choosing my personal design from my phone, then printing it took a total of 3 minutes! And the stencil design was clean and detailed, just like the design. Super impressed with this little machine! One thing: the printer comes in a velvet bag inside the travel case and one of the plastic pieces on the end of the string enclosure was broken upon opening the case. There were little black plastic pieces all over the case and I was worried it came from the printer itself. After finding it was from the dust bag I chose to simply throw away the pieces as the bag works fine without it. All in all a great little stencil printer!

Pros: The machine prints really well, lightweight, portable and connects to phone very easily. I also like the case they give you it’s designed to hold the charger plug, printer and has a pocket inside to hold other things. I think my favorite feature is that it does not need to be plugged in to work, it charges up. Cons: The app has a feature to change your desired photo to line work and remove shading but when you select it and print it, it just comes out the original way it looks. Secondly the stencil transfer sheets are a nice plus but they are foldable and nearly impossible to straighten out. I only used them to practice using the machine. I recommend getting your own that are straight and not folded up.

This is almost the perfect printer for tattoo transfers. First the good: (1) it comes with a carry case that is A+ in quality. It isn't a hard shell but it's walls are thick which provides great protection on the go! The printer is held in place and it has a inside netted pocket. (2) It's charged and connected to a computer by C type cord, which is easily found everywhere making it easy to replace if lost. It does come with the cord and the charger box. It's also has Bluetooth capabilities. Love this when using my phone to print transfers! (3) Light, compact, and easily taken anywhere! (4) Easy and quick to set up. Comes with easy to read directions and a QR code for fast access to the app. (5) Easily resize any picture you want to print, size chart on print preview. Now the not so good: (1) Depending on picture you may have to adjust the print mode in order for it to show up, which could waste paper. (2) Picture must be clear with well defined lines and without any shading. If not, the picture will not print right. Sometimes frustrating. That's my experience with this printer, definitely worth purchasing. Soooo much faster than not having it.
