  • Some features just DON'T WORK well
Style: WiFi 6
The PCE-AX58BT Bluetooth function of this WiFi card is just sad. The WiFi portion works well and increased my speeds by 3x. The Bluetooth, while it does install and seems to have good range, will NOT, after hours of trying, allow me to stream music from my phone to my PC (Windows 10). I have a cheap $18 dongle from Best Buy that performs 100%. This card gives me streaming service disabled by policy group error. Thought I fixed that, then gives me needed dependencies not started or working. Put old dongle back in and BANG, audio streaming works perfect. Tried to contact ASUS and what a ABYSMAL failure that was. No support to be found other than a few non-relevant FAQs. Tried to use the CHAT WITH ME feature and takes me to an FAQ page and wants me to install some diagnostics and chat program, which I presume would only take me to a non sentient computer algorithm that pretends to be human. Oh and lets not forget that in order to USE the Bluetooth function you have to have a spare USB 9 pin header open on your motherboard?!?! I finally gave up and just plugged in my old dongle, which I didn't want to do because I would have rather kept a free USB port on my front panel open for other things. I have been in the computer industry since I was 20 and I am 53 now. I have never used anything but ASUS products. But now, I don't think I will. Instruction manuals that are piss poor, microscopic font and product descriptions that don't even give all the details of the product. Nowhere on their site, box or instructions does it say if this card even supports A2DP media streaming, although with Bluetooth 5.0 one would ASSUME it does. If your looking for a just WiFi card and don't really care about Bluetooth, then this is a good card. Other than that, don't wast your time or money. ... show more

  • Absolute Trash - worst asus product I've ever purchased
Style: WiFi 6
Constantly loses connectivity with my bluetooth controller. Constantly loses connectivity with my wifi. All drivers installed as directed - just intermittent piece of garbage. I would have returned, but purchased over the holidays and got a bit busy and forgot. UPDATE: Purchased a cheap tp-link equivalent to replace. Confirmed my suspicions - no more dropped teams calls, bluetooth devices no longer randomly loses connection. I only wish I would have hooked this thing up and realized how bad it was during the return window. Some of them probably work fine, but all I can review is the one I received and it was terrible. My entire PC build is ASUS except for this terrible card. ... show more

  • blue screened my pc no matter what I tried
Style: WiFi 6
I did exactly what the manual said to do and it blue screened my PC. I then uninstalled everything (old and new Bluetooth drivers) and reinstalled the drivers before installing the WiFi card physically. Still a blue screen of death. I continued troubleshooting in every way I could. i tried booting into safe mode both with and without networking... etc. Still no luck. Maybe it just doesn't like my motherboard? • ASUS For The Win
Style: WiFi 6
I happen to have a bit of a dead spot in my house where my personal gaming computer is located and running untidy network cables just is not what I was wanting to do. Since building my new computer this issue started becoming quite a thing, and I need to solve it. I tried a number of other products to try and get a network signal into the room, but the signal would always be extremely poor, and in some instances non existent. I was about to give up the search and start laying those painful cables, when I decided to give it one more try and I purchased the ASUS AX3000. The most difficult part of the installation was opening the computer chassis. It was really as simple as finding an open PCIe slot, plugging the card in, connecting the antenna's and turning the PC on. The device was instantly recognised by my Operating System, and my network wows were a thing of the past. The signal is strong, in fact, a full signal. Sadly at this point in time I can not do a proper speed test as the WACS & SAT3/WASC cables are still waiting to be repaired. Once these are up and running, I hope to do a proper speed test and will update this review. • Delicious WiFi Adapter
Style: WiFi 6
Epic. I'm a network engineer and chose this for my gaming rig. Recommended as it's a trusted brand and was a massive upgrade from my temporary usb WiFi solution. I have a pretty cheap ISP plan but I now get the same speeds that I see at the router after upgrading the equipment to wifi 6 standards with mu-mimo - the before/after is impressive. The antenna looks bulky in the picture but it's actually skinny and very adaptable with 360 degrees of movement. Mounted it on the side of my case and angled them with one down and one up, looks slick. Didn't even both with the bluetooth usb header since i'm using all of mine but seriously, if you need BT just get a $5 BT adapter lol. It worked with generic drivers and didn't require any installation steps beyond inserting it. For people writing about setup issues, it's most likely their pci-e configurations. Mine, for instance, locks out the pci-e x1 slots if i use the m.2 slot (which i dont) since it shares the bus. Overall a solid buy. Just need that gigabit internet budget now :( ... show more
