I upgraded from a 2080ti so I've definitely got nothing but praise for this big boy. First of all, temps: I had an AIO liquid cooled 2080ti that got higher temps than this card does under load. For being an air cooler, this thing stays RIDICULOUSLY cool and I have yet to see it break 60C. Noise: The card has two settings (a manual switch on the card near the power plugs) for performance or quiet mode. To be honest, I've had mine set to performance and I've yet to really even hear it ramp up. Even at a synthetic max load where I tried to get temps as high as possible by turning off my case fans, this thing stayed relatively quiet compared to most cards I've had. A solid winner here for sure. Size: If you google the dimensions of the card you'll find : Height 5.0" / 127.0 mm Length 11.81" / 299.97 mm Width 2.75-Slot I believe these are accurate as I measured the space in my case to make sure it would fit and the clearances seem to be what I predicted. So, just make sure it will fit in your case! As you can see in the picture, this is NOT a small card and needs a pretty large space. My case is an NZXT h500i for reference. Performance: The card appears to be a direct 30-40% upgrade for me on all games. I play on a 1440p 144hz monitor. For example, in Modern Warfare with RTX on and on max settings my 2080ti would only sustain about 115fps. This card can sustain about 180fps. This is INCREDIBLE and actually allows me to make use of my 144hz refresh rate, finally! And Modern Warfare isn't the exception, GPU usage is consistently down 30% on all games that I play. This 3080 absolutely destroys the value of the 2080ti so I am extremely satisfied. Of course, it comes with all of the benefits of being able to use the tensor cores. This comes with options such as DLSS and my personal favorite: Nvidia broadcast. If you have an RTX card make sure to get this so you can get noise removal for your mic! it is a very nice application of unused GPU power all around and my friends probably appreciate not hearing my clicky as hell keyboard anymore. Promotional Offer: At the time that I ordered this card, this page explicitly said that it came with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and a 1yr GeForce Now membership. Currently, as I am writing this, those are no longer listed. I am not sure if that means they are no longer including these. However, amazon support told me that my codes would come 3 days after the item shipped and they certainly did. Still, be careful, as I'm sure that since it is not explicitly listed on the page anymore that it probably doesn't come with these codes anymore! To sum up, this card has been a massive upgrade for me and the experience at 1440p 144hz gaming is much better than it was on even a 2080ti. Highly recommended if you are in this position as well.

I was lucky enough to catch a preorder. I used several of the stock notification apps and websites, and was able to click a little faster after several attempts. It was originally scheduled to arrive December 31st, but Amazon kept moving it up. Actually arrived December 4th. Very nice surprise. This thing is crazy fast. I can tell a huge improvement over my 2080S. I also snagged a 5800x a few days prior, and I think this is the perfect combination. When gaming both are near 100% utilization, so I don’t think I have any bottleneck. I’m playing on a 27” 1440p 144hz monitor. At ultra settings everything I’ve played so far is maxed out frames. It’s very to awesome to see. The card is longer than my 2080S. I did buy a GPU brace due to significant sag on the front. The TUF RGB is subtle. I have several RGB Corsair fans and RGB CPU cooler, and the rainbow pattern fits in fine. I have not attempted to change it, as I have an Aorus board. If you don’t care for RGB, I think you’d be ok with the minimal lighting. The back plate also takes up less room than my 2080S. The card doesn’t seem as tall. Just longer. As everyone has stated, this runs cool. Max temp I’ve seen is 62C after a few hours of gaming. The fans do seem to run all the time at 1000rpm with no load. But I cannot hear them at all. I may look at whether this can be adjusted. When under load they did get up to a max of 1900rpm. I had my headset on so I didn’t hear them. Max graphics clock captured while gaming was 1950 MHz. No overlocking. Overall this thing wrecks! I cannot imagine any casual gamer needing anything more. Honestly the 3070 would probably have been enough for me, but coming from a 2080S, I did want to see a noticeable difference and it has far exceeded my expectations.

Build Quality: 5/5 High quality components. Steel backplate and aluminum chassis are nice to have and I don't believe competing brands come close to the build quality seen here. Design: 5/5 The minimalistic and industrial look is perfect. I was looking to get a GPU without the RGB non-sense and this one came very close. You can turn off the RGB through the ASUS Armoury Crate app. Noise: 4/5 There is coil whine in my unit when the GPU is under heavy load. Otherwise, the zero RPM at low temperatures make this GPU one of the quietest during idle and normal web surfing operations. Temperature and Performance: 5/5 This is a 3080 RTX so it will perform very well in games and runs very cool. My unit never surpassed 65 C under heavy load. I can run all games at 80-90 FPS on ultrawide 1440p (basically a resolution between 1440p and 4k). Value: 5/5 Compared to all the other GPUs (when I bought it), the pricing on this GPU is superior. At $750, I found it to be extremely good value. If I had been able to score a non-OC TUF, it would have been even better at $700. Misc: 4/5 Heavy weight of the GPU means it will require some anti-sag measures as seen in my photo.

I’ve been trying to get one of these card since the minute it launched and had several times got all the way to checkout on various different sights only to be beat by scalpers. So I finally figured the only way I would actually get one was to give in and pay the inflated price. Having said that, this thing is an incredible upgrade from my old gtx 1080 and I’m happy to finally get this card. It literally never gets above 65c as others have said and I’ve been trying all the new games at both 1440p 144hz and 4K 120hz and it has run most things at max or close to max settings. Ray tracing performance is pretty impressive as well and will be a bigger deal in future games I’m guessing.

This graphics card is simply amazing! I am switching to it from the NVIDIA Founders Edition 3090 and it gives very similar performance at 1440p. I was a bit skeptical on the design but after seeing it in my system, it put all of those worries to rest. It is simply a beautiful graphics card, a bit of a chonky boi but it runs great! This thing is perfect for my needs and I feel very comfortable knowing that I will be getting $800 back in return for pretty much the same performance. If you can get your hands on one of these (or even a non-OC for better value) you will not be disappointed.

This thing is a beast. Sure it is expensive and hard to find but I was lucky enough to get it for msrp before tariffs caused the msrp to increase. Used in my new gaming pc (ryzen 5800x, x570 motherboard, 32 GB DDR4 mem) and I can max out everything I play at 1440p (with Dell S3220dgf monitor). Haven’t tried 4k yet (probably won't move to 4k for a few generations anyways). The dlss feature pushed this over the top for me versus latest amd cards because ray tracing looks incredible. Came from GTX 1070.

I got this at MSRP off Amazon.com for $749, and have been using it to play games for about two weeks now. I have over 100 hours in Cyberpunk 2077, am playing at 1440p Ultra RTX settings and usually get over 60fps. Without RTX, well over 100. This is a great card, it never goes above 65c, it's quiet, and it's fast. A+ if and only if you can get for MSRP.

This is one heck of a GPU! The 4k video that it puts out looks great. The only cons I have are the price and the noise. However, I guess for what it produces, I can live with both
