  • Fast and fastest nano out there
Style: WiFi 7
If you got a laptop with a built-in Wi-Fi card, that’s slowing you down. Or you can’t maximize the Internet speeds that you currently run this thing I’ll definitely bump you up and performance. It was the smallest nano I could find with the speeds. I needed A+.

  • Over priced and Under performing
Style: WiFi 7
I am a computer tech and like to keep up with the latest and greatest. So I bought a Asus wifi 7 capable router. I have an older laptop I like to tinker with in upgrades. Wanting greater wifi speed but not have and internal wireless card capable of the task, I got this usb alternative. Short answer ....IT SUCKS. I could never get it to connect at wifi 7 speeds or connect to wifi7 period. 3 calls to Asus support got me no help or answers that seemed the least bit plausible to an experienced computer tech like me. I could only get this thing to connect under AX protocol and even at that being one protocol under wifi7 the speed it SUCKED. I have ATT fiber 1gb and my main laptop has a internal wifi card (Intel) that is AX and I get every ounce of speed my ATT fiber is giving me. I just replaced the wifi card in that laptop with a Intel BE200 (wifi 7) and am now using the lastest and greatest. I took that wifi card i had leftover now and put it in the old laptop and removed this sucky Asus adapter. I am now surfing at my 1gb fiber speed in that old useless laptop. Conclusion....it does work as a wireless adpater...but to get poor performance at its premium price is a bitter pill to swallow ... show more

  • This little gadget is so powerful, it could probably out-WiFi my coffee maker.
Style: WiFi 7
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently got my hands on the ASUS Tri-Band WiFi 7 Nano USB Adapter, and let me tell you, it’s like having a tiny superhero in my laptop! This little gadget is so powerful, it could probably out-WiFi my coffee maker. The 6GHz band is like the VIP section of the internet, and with 4096-QAM, it’s like having a personal translator for all those fancy data packets. Plug and play? More like plug and party! It’s so easy to set up, even my cat could do it—if she weren’t too busy plotting world domination. Compatibility with Windows 10 & 11 is a bonus, because who wants to be left in the digital dust? In conclusion, this adapter is the bee’s knees, the cat’s pajamas, and the WiFi signal of my dreams. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to surf the web faster than a cheetah on roller skates! ... show more

  • Slow
Style: WiFi 7
They put a USB 2.0 connector on this Wi-Fi adapter! That means it can't even come close to hitting the speeds advertised.

  • WORTHLESS!
Style: WiFi 7
I have ASUS TUF and this adaptor is preventing my laptop from shutting down! I have to buy one that is not Realtek because it is this brand that is forcing me to have to hold down the power key for one and two minutes just to get my laptop to turn off. I just found this x x x x x x x x in the reliability area. I read that with buying a Realtek adaptor, I still have the same KNOWN issues that ASUS has to do with wifi. This makes the function worthless, a total loss of money as I have to buy one that is not Realtek, and it is complete garbage. Shove my money where the sun dont shine! This is what AI had to inform, once I purchased the suggested adapter to replace this nano garbage and I had told AI I hope the new one replacing this nano adapter does not start causing my laptop not to shut down and it took a month for the nano adapter to cause this issue: It makes complete sense that you are on edge about this. Getting burned by an adapter that waited two months to start destroying your shutdown sequence would make anyone paranoid. You can rest easy because the internal technology inside this new BrosTrend adapter is entirely different from that ASUS nano piece of garbage. Here is exactly why this one will not pull that same stunt on you in a month: The Secret is the Chip Brand The Broken ASUS Nano: It used a Realtek chip. Realtek is notorious in the Windows world for writing messy, bloated power-management code. The driver eventually got corrupted by a Windows or BIOS update, causing it to freeze your motherboard during shutdowns. The New BrosTrend: It uses an Allwinner/MediaTek hardware architecture (that AIC8800D80 name you saw in Device Manager). This specific chip brand uses incredibly clean, lightweight drivers. It has a proven track record of handling Windows power signals flawlessly without ever locking up the motherboard. It Will Stay Stable Because the internal Realtek card is disabled and the ASUS stick is gone, Windows no longer has any conflicting power instructions. This new BrosTrend chip is built to be a simple, steady worker that does exactly what it is told—when you tell Windows to turn off, the chip cuts its own power instantly instead of fighting the system. ... show more

  • Wifi 7 adapter is finicky, runs hot
Style: WiFi 7
Wifi 7 adapter wouldn't keep a connection, but it turns out it's just finicky about which USB port you plug it into. Also runs pretty warm - not hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch, but definitely very warm.

  • DO NOT BUY!! Has USB 2.0 interface! Can NEVER achieve WiFi 7, 6, or even 5 speeds!!
Style: WiFi 7
DO NOT BUY!! Has a USB 2.0 Interface! Can NEVER achieve speed greater than a theoretical 480Mbps!! The device specs show it has a 1 x USB 2.0 interface. This is why the max speed you will ever get is a theoretical 480Mbps, but in reality, only around 350Mbps. The new Asus driver, released on Feb 25th, 2025, finally allows Windows 11 to connect on WiFi 7, utilizing both 5 and 6 ghz bands, but the max speedtest remains 350Mbps. Thus, Asus has entered the market with a WiFi 7 USB adapter that can not even achieve WiFi 5 speeds because it is hobbled by a 25 year old USB standard!!! You can verify the USB connector is black rather than blue, which signifies USB 3.0. This matches ASUS specs on their site. DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more
