I mounted the VOTATU V848 Laser Light Combo (Green/IR Laser + 1700LM Flashlight/IR Illuminator) on my Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol, and I’m genuinely impressed. This thing punches way above its price class — it feels like a much more expensive unit in both performance and build quality. The 1700 lumen white light is bright and has a great throw with a usable spill. The green laser is crisp and easy to pick up, and having both IR laser and IR illuminator gives me excellent night vision compatibility. What really stands out is how well it handles recoil — it has held zero through plenty of 12ga rapid fire with zero issues. The M-Lok mount is rock solid and the whole unit feels extremely durable. Controls are intuitive, the battery life is solid, and the aluminum body has a premium feel. For the money, this is one of the best light/laser combos I’ve tried on a shotgun. Pros: -Extremely bright 1700LM flashlight with good beam pattern -Crisp green laser + IR laser/illuminator options -Holds zero through heavy 12ga rapid fire like a champ -Solid, well-built mount and housing -Includes remote pressure pad with both M-Lok and picatinny mounting options -Outstanding value — punches way above its price Cons: -None so far. So far this unit has completely thrown me off gaurd. I wasnt expecting anything too crazy due to the price point. The V848 has exceeded all my expectations and then some. The unit itself seems to be pretty solid. The laser and lights are both really bright. I currently have this on a gbrs hydra mount and everything fits perfectly. The crane plug is the perfect length to run from the hydra to the front of the rifle(c-clamping area). I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have these capabilities without breaking the bank. 10/10 for me. If anything changes I will be sure to update the review. ... show more

This thing is pretty good for how cheap it is. I have about 400ish rounds on this unit using a 556 ar, and no issues so far. The adjustments are positive clicks, and it seems to hold zero well. White light is pretty good, ir laser/iluminator also works decent under NV. The only negative I would say is that the laser blooms a good bit at distance, but it is definitely usable at 100m and in. Overall, I’m happy with it and would buy another. Update: still holding zero and functioning after about 1k rounds 223/556. One thing I did notice however is the socket for the crane plug seems VERY tight. I was not able to put a different brand pressure switch with a crane plug on it. I’m sure if I really tried I could eventually work it in, but decided not to. Just another little detail I noticed. Overall though, I still think it’s a great little unit for the price. ... show more

Quick Verdict: The "Budget Night Vision" KingBest For: Budget night vision setups (pairing with a PVS-14 or digital NV), Airsoft Milsim, and 5.56/.223 range rifles. Avoid If: You require a field-replaceable battery (this has a built-in rechargeable one) or need "duty-grade" IR illumination for targets beyond 150+ yards. Durability & PowerRecoil Rated: Reviews and tests show it holds zero well on 5.56 AR-15s and even 12-gauge shotguns. It has an aluminum housing and is IPX6 water-resistant. Charging: It uses a magnetic USB charger. While convenient, the battery is internal and non-replaceable. the VOTATU V848 Laser Light Combo really impressed me. I bought it for my rifle setup and it has exceeded expectations in every way. The build quality is solid and feels durable right out of the box, not cheap or flimsy like some other budget combos. The 1700-lumen flashlight is insanely bright—it easily lights up large outdoor areas and provides a crisp, clear beam. The green laser is sharp and visible even in daylight, and the IR laser/illuminator pairs perfectly with night-vision gear. Having both options in one unit is a huge bonus. One of my favorite features is the multi-mode display screen. It makes switching between modes quick and foolproof, especially when you’re using gloves or working in low-visibility conditions. Everything is intuitive and easy to navigate. Mounting was simple; the unit locked in tightly to my M-Lok/Picatinny rail with zero movement. I was skeptical because of price but it 100% has blown me away. I put on ar with Mlok and it’s incredible sturdy, laser has held zero for over 400 rounds, mounted super easily, flashlight and laser both incredible powerful. Touch pad works great! I can’t say enough good things about this light laser combo. I love the magnetic charging, battery life is great. IR setting work incredibly well. This thing is still being tested, but just so you know, I bought another one. Yes I like. And it’s affordable, and tough as nails. It works well with NVG equipment. Yes I bought it for the real deal not cosplay, or mil-sim. One on my SCAR, and one on my AR.
