  • Highly Recommend. Great for gaming
Style: ROG STRIX RX 5500 XT
Truly impressed. I’m a mild gamer. I play games like counter strike, Call of Duty, Black Desert and Battlefield and without a doubt in my mind this product is incredible in 1080p Ultra . The driver (Adrenalin 2020) is very buggy I do have to say but only with things such as setting hot keys, instant replay and streaming but if you’re not too worried about that then you should be fine. I upgraded from an Nvidia 780Ti and the difference was night and day and when I say that I’m talking about the detail, shadows, and colors that the 5500XT has and not to mention the temperature of the GPU doesn’t ever get hot even with the factory overclock. You do need an 6+2 Pin to power it. and one last additional thing I may add is if you want the FULLEST potential of the Radeon Freesync and Antilag features that come with the driver I would recommend an ASUS Freesync 165Hz monitor which is what I use if you’re going to also buy a monitor if not It should still look great with any other monitor. I used this card with a Vizio 60Hz monitor and it was still pretty good ... show more

  • A+ Games on Ultra 118-190fps
Style: ROG STRIX RX 580
I have always been an nVidia/Intel fanboy. But AMD have finally closed the gap on them both. I'm not ready to start sporting AMD/RADEON underoos...but I might. I slapped together a budget system on Amazon for about 1,250 USD, which included this card, a R5 2600X CPU, 16GB of Vengeance Pro 3200 (O.C.), and an ASUS TUF B350 PLUS with various other bits. My monitor is a 32" Element true 1080p @ 60Hz monitor, so I don't at the moment benefit from frame rates higher than 60fps. Which serves my gaming needs at the moment. Before I capped the card's frame rate at 60fps, I was getting between 118-190fps on Fortnite, Quake C, EVE Online, WoW, Everspace, Dreadnought, League of Legends, and Crysis. It's easy to overclock. I currently have mine running at 150% power and 1500MHz with an extremely aggressive cooling profile that keeps it under 66*C on ULTRA game settings and under 38*C on idle. ASUS + AMD = a massive Win with this build. Using the scaling features of the card's management suite I was able to get a solid and steady 60fps at 4K. Smooth as silk. I love this card and may buy another to add to this build. Well done, AMD. ... show more

  • Biggest Video Card I have ever owned - Powerful Too
Style: ROG STRIX RX 5700 XT
This year I decided it was time to upgrade from my old ATI-HD 5770 video card which is no longer supported. Figured I would get a top of the line AMD card and decided on this one. When I received it, I found it wouldn't work on my current system at the time. So I started buying what I needed to build a new system then and there. By the time I was done, I had spent over $3000.00 and I just fired my new system up about a week ago. The video card works just fine, but I found that the fans did not run and there was no way to enable them. Did a bit of research I found that I had to use both CPU-Z and MorePowerTools to modify the firmware to enable manual fan control. Now they work like a charm. Anyone can find this information just by Googling the fan problem with the video card. The card itself was well worth the purchase and it works in my new AMD Ryzen 9 3900X system ... show more

  • Great GPU, But with issues.
Style: ROG STRIX RX 580
The RX580 replaces a problematic Radeon R9 380 which constantly froze the PC. This happened while the Crypto miners drove the price of GPU’s through the roof. I have a Corsair Obsidian 750D full tower case so I have plenty of space for this RX580, an HX1200i power supply so I have more than power. My Motherboard is an ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z, with an AMD fX 9590 CPU. The installation was straight forward except I had to change cables the R9 uses 2 6 pin cables, the RX580 1 8pin cable, very nice. The 750D’s has a great cable management system which routes the cables in a space accessed from the right case cover. Windows 10 was a complete PIA with the installation. When I restarted after installation Windows 10 decided it needed to repair W10 so it sat there for a half an hour doing that. I had a minor amount of trouble loading the drivers. A clean install fixed that. Huge improvement over the defective R9 380. Much better rendering. I am not a gamer but I have almost 200 GB of videos loaded. The old SD TV shows have greatly improved picture quality, very pleased. But: I had one green screen of death which was apparently mitigated by a clean install of the drivers. This morning when I woke the PC up I had a flickering black screen. This is a known issue with this series of Radeon cards. I did the suggested fixes so we will see what happens. It is apparently a startup issue. I’ll just let the computet go to standby instead of me putting it to sleep. This issue is the only reason for the 4 Star rating. If I continue to have problems in the next few days I’ll Call Amazon for a replacement. Update: The suggested fixed have worked. The most common cause of the flashing black screen, according to Youtubes on the subject is the Windows error reporting service, it is now disabled. The 2nd as much less come is iCloud on your PC. I don’t usr iCloud on the PC so I deleted it. ... show more

  • Amazing card!
Style: ROG STRIX RX 5700 XT
This card is great! I recently upgraded from my gtx 1060 to the 5700xt and was not disappointed, the GPU made a massive difference in my games. I went for the Asus Strix because of the clean style of the Strix model and the cooling. Drivers are not hard to install and I have not had any problems with it from when I bought a couple of months ago. The aura sync and Asus GPU tweak software is great and easy to understand, for only $450 it was a steal! Pros: -3 fans for cooling (under full load, doesn't go above 80*) -aura sync is easy and nice-looking -Gpu has great overall performance -Build quality is the best I've seen (Its quite heavy) Cons: -The only real con is how gigantic this card is which you can expect from Asus. I personally don't mind but make sure this thing will fit in your case, and you might want to add in a GPU support bracket too just to prevent GPU sag. ... show more
