I compared the two and honestly these fit better in my ears like they actually feel snug and comfy, they have alot more bass than airpods, you can equalize them, and the noise cancelation has 4 different modes. however the bigger driver in them makes them get loud super fast, but if you like asus as much as i do you should definitely buy these. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After getting my third RMA for my Asus Allys defective sd card reader alot i decided to buy some Asus gaming earphones since i dont want to use wired earbuds. These came in and i instantly tried them out and the sound was lackluster and worse than my old similarly priced hammerheads. I figure as long as latency is fine it doesnt matter since i want them for gaming not music. They connected fine at first and input lag was acceptable. After charging however my right earbud got extremely hot and now sounds static. It works for 2 mins then shows a low battery message and will no longer charge to full. This all happened on the first day. If your right ear bud is broken you lose access to gaming mode as well since its only controllable on the right earbud. Reviews have other people with similar experiences and my guess is they cheaped out on the internal batteries. Asus seems like a company to cut corners and issue defective products that either fail right away or soon. I cannot recommend these at all ... show more

These are my daily carry set of ear buds. I use them 5-8 hours a day while at work (connected to my iPhone) and at night when I game on my PC. I have to charge my case about every 4 or 5 days after heavy use. The ear buds, which I alternate between (because my work prohibits two ear buds in at a time), hold charge for about 5-6ish hours. Initially, when I got them, the case was rather difficult to open and would sometimes slip out of my pockets and hands. Now that it’s ‘broken’ in from use it is much easier to open but still rather slick. It can slip out of pockets made with softer materials (basket ball shorts). The case and ear buds have survived multiple drops on concrete and other surfaces. They connect easily/automatically to my PC but sometimes are stubborn when it comes to connecting to my iPhone but this might be because of my phone being older or needing an update. They are the best fitting ear buds I’ve ever owned. I have never had one fall out on its own. They also cancel out quiet a bit of background noise pretty well. I have used them as ear protection at times when using impact wrenches. The pictures attached to this review reflect 8 months of constant use. Notice the abrasions where the magnets are under the lid, this is from metal from my work getting in the case and causing wear. The finish changes over time from a matte finish to a glossy one. One is missing because I’m currently using it lol. This review is less about sound quality and more about reliability and long term quality. Overall, I’m very impressed and it’s nice to have something different than the ear buds everyone else owns. They match my computer and they function well. My biggest complaint is that I wish I could change the RGB colors. Edit: 12/16/2025 I lost my ear buds for about 2-3 weeks and have finally found them. The case will charge but I believe the ear buds have finally kicked the bucket. Their service will not be forgotten, I will be replacing them with an identical pair when I get paid. Best pair of wireless earbuds I’ve ever had and the case with RGB lights is awesome. Super comfortable and great hands free controls built in. Honestly just wish they had an option without a mic (maybe I missed it) as the mic quality is poor but honestly you shouldn’t be trying to use them for that purpose anyways. ... show more
