I’m really liking it so far. I just received it yesterday, the shipping was a little slow. It took them a few days to send it out but once it was shipped it only took 2-3 days. Everything works great, the only thing I noticed which isn’t a make or break for myself is the right side of the paddle isn’t completely closed versus the left side. It’s nothing major but it’s to be expected when ordering refurbished. $100(ish) off and that’s the only issue. I’ll take that. I put a case on it and it’s not even noticeable afterwards. If you’re looking to purchase the rog ally, I’d suggest this from my experience but I did notice some reviews were pretty bad. I took the chance and am pretty happy with it. I might even purchase another one in the future for my girlfriend. If you have a pc I’d recommend uninstalling one drive from it and your ally because it will move everything over to your ally, which is a pain imo due to space and limited performance being a handheld. One last thing is it’s not quite as fast as I’d hoped for with games but like I said I just received it yesterday so I have to tinker with settings and hopefully it will improve my gaming experience. I did a little bit so far and it doubled in fps, I’m hoping to get a tad bit more still. I hope this helps someone make a decision. Happy gaming! ... show more

    • Almost perfect
In perfect condition, works well, and no real issues so far. The device was setup already which I liked since I didn't have to mess with accounts or anything. The screen looks good, the speakers sound good, but the battery life is not good. Perhaps it's because I haven't played with it enough yet and optimized it's settings, but even on the lowest of low power modes, it drops a percentage point every 8 seconds. Maybe the battery was not replaced and it's still the original, which has degraded. No worries, I can always just replace it. It was also VERY cold, so maybe the battery needs some time to get adjusted. The charger works good, though takes a little longer than I'd like to recharge. This isn't necessarily a "Go over to your friends house and have a 4 hour gaming session" with no charger kind of console, but rather something that you can take around to have the ability to play games. It's more like a super portable gaming laptop than anything, since those laptops have terrible battery when gaming and usually are played plugged in but you can at least take them places. This item was in a little more rough condition than I expected with noticeable signs of damage. I wouldn’t have described it as in "excellent" condition by far. Either it was dropped on the corner or it was opened to be tampered with and the materials were abused or stretch in the process. The bottom right corner has a gap that is visible and noticeable to the touch. Console seems to work well so far and the speakers and controls are responsive but I will update if problems arise or the case seems to further deteriorate due to it being in this condition. Update: left joystick stopped working and if touched gets stuck moving mouse (or character if playing a game) left and it won’t stop until you restart the device. I have no choice but to send it back. Terrible experience with this product ... show more
