  • Great Card for running SLI (NV-LINK)
Style: TURBO
This was a great purchase! Even though I had some issues with shipment, and some issues with the card when I got it, Techno Intelligence did good on their part, I ended up fixing a minor issue and the matter was handled by excellent customer service! If you're looking for good -Like new PC parts, I would recommend this company!! - Paul ... show more

  • Turbo 2080 in SLI
Style: TURBO
Have had two of the turbo 2080s for four months in SLI with a 9980 XE processor and an ROG Extreme Omega motherboard and have had zero problems. Touch wood. Funny, but I bought the two cards in the same order. One has Micron memory, the other Samsung, though. Enough said. As for temperatures, they typically run World of Warcraft on a 4k monitor, with FPS limited to 30 (I know what you are thinking, slow right--but I dont notice a difference) beautifully with the temperatures NEVER going above 55 degrees--even when the ambient room temperature is 30 degrees. I may be in the minority, but this is the setup you want for longevity of your cards (and other hardware) with way above average performance (not relative to at least the short term cost though, I know). Anyhow, I think my setup rocks (and that's what matters) and my Asus 2080 turbos, rock big time. Five stars. ... show more

  • Great GPU
Style: DUAL OC
Replaced an outdated and overused GTX 980. The 980 was still running current games "fine" but was being pushed to its limits and could tell it was being phased out from current new gaming titles. This RTX card is running everything i throw at it on the highest of settings doesn't matter the game. Silent no sound from fans. Doesn't get overwhelmed at all and even running games, browser open, discord, etc. load capacity is minimal plenty of room to be pushed to its limits still. Stays a steady and cool 50degrees Celsius even with gaming for extended periods of time like 8hr sessions. I do suggest buying a GPU sag support brace of some kind, the card is massive and may overtime pull on the board. Overall very happy with my purchase of the card and would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade from an older card or buying for a new build altogether. Just compare the benchmarks and the numbers wont lie, this card is a beast! ... show more

  • Great card
Style: DUAL OC
Upgrading from 1070 to this card. Generally get 50 -70 more Fps in most games that I've played and more constant at 144. The card runs around 60 to 70C full load. The one problem I've had is that the card is supposed to come with Anthem and Battlefield 5, I didn't receive either It may be because I bought 2, but one of them was for my son. I also purchased at 2 different times so I'm amiss as to why I didn't receive the games. So that's my only complaint ... show more

  • Rust on the fin stack?
Style: DUAL OC
Good 2080 alternative but the materials used to build the heat sink leaves much to be desired. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good heatsink! It’s the same heat sink they used on last gen 1080ti models, and it does an adequate job of keeping this toasty GPU from melting down, but the fins on the heatsink almost look downright corroded. Not what you want to see in a $800+ item. I’m keeping mine in the basis that they are hard to find but I would have expected much better from Asus quality control. ... show more

  • Solid card for Dana4sfx
Style: TURBO
Got this for a dana4-sfx case. Old 1080 evga was kicking up entire ambient temps and causing heat issues. I run gaming in 3440x1440 and noticed since swapping out to this card temp is cooler with better performance, less noise than old evga super clocked acx. I think some other 2080 might get better performance, but im very happy with the card and needed the blower for sfx case. I put electrical tape over rgb strip on card since there was no way to turn it off with software. Notice the card struggles less and produces higher framerates in apex, quake champions, etc. Solid card. Pick one up my Dana4 friends ;-). ... show more

  • $$$ but great.
Style: DUAL
Very solid performance in a HTPC. Supported by the 418.91 NVidia driver which is the last version supporting 3D TV Play for 3D Blurays. Excellent paired with the Epson 5050UBe in the HT with 145" screen 3D is in the room with you! No ghosting, like iMax at home.

  • Quiet and full powered. Keeps the case cool.
Style: TURBO
I'm a big fan of blower GPUs for small form factor cases. Blower GPUs suck air in from the side and blow all the hot air out the back of the CPU. Normal GPUs blow all their hot exhaust into the interior of the case. That's fine in large cases with tons of fans to remove the heat, but in small form factor builds, a blower GPU like this one is essential to keep the rest of the PC cool. I put this into a Node 202 and it runs cool even at full tilt. Highly recommended! ... show more
