First it is renewed and not a scratch bor blemish and it got to it right off. The image and video quality is excellent, (no touch screen which is why I use a mouse anyhow) sound quality and volume very good but the illuminated keyboard and keyboard in general is spot on with the illumination being the best I have ever seen, clear, bright and well defined. Stays cool and very responsive watching video's or whatever and even though it does not have Wifi 6 it responds so quick why bother! Asus and Intel are a great combination and the Chrome OS (at now version 19) works great but is getting a bit fat with gimicks, fortunately most you can remove. I have owned a very satisfactory 11.6" screen ASUS Chromebook for a number of years, but as eyes get older, I decided to get a larger model with a 14" screen. Stayed with ASUS. Was a good choice. The screen has a narrow metal border, giving the size wanted in a somewhat smaller package. And the screen has a much wider viewing angle, so you don't have to fuss with the screen position for a perfect display. Prefer a mouse, and the USB dongle fits neatly into the computer side. Works well for the price. Speakers work well. Doesn’t lag out unless you are on a page running mostly just ads. Looks good and I like this exact size, however it seems to get dirty easy so maybe keep a wipe around or get a case ?

Got the item refurbished. Though it says it was inspected it clearly was a defective unit. Wouldn't turn on correctly and doesn't even look to have have been fully wiped. Waste of my time and overall waste of energy.
