So far, this chromebook has been great for what I needed it for. I purchased it for the sole purpose of using for our son to be able to do virtual school at home for the days he's not in traditional "in person" class. It has worked great so far. Screen quality seems to be great, it was easy to set up with our printer, and quick to connect to our wifi. I haven't experienced any lag or delay in pulling up the internet either. The camera quality seems to be pretty great as well. We've only used it for one zoom meeting so far though. I'm sure that there are things that might be better with other brands than this one, but for what we needed this laptop for and what our budget for buying one was, it has been perfect for everything we are using it for. ... show more

    • A fundamentally busted machine

I bought this one to replace an ASUS netbook that still works but I have had for so long that I can no longer update it or run certain apps because of its old age. Which is to say: I used to love ASUS netbooks - inexpensive, reliable, durable - but this inexpensive computer is far from reliable or durable. Within two months of purchase, it is unbelievably slow (ie, takes more than a minute to register a mouse click), it crashes constantly, it cannot support basic web-based apps like Zoom. It freezes on basic web pages. I have wiped the OS at least twice, hoping that it will restore basic netbook functionality, but the problems have never been resolved. I bought a Lenovo netbook around the same time for my child, and it has been everything I had hoped this one would be. ... show more

This laptop provided the necessary functionality for him to do his school work and he uses it for homework and learning games since he returned to school. The media could not be loaded. As soon as I logged in everything from my old computer was already on this one which saved me from having to transfer and files aside from music. Decently fast. It arrived super fast and was a cinch to set up and download the necessary apps for my kiddos school... She was also able to use Google Meet to attend virtual learning with her teacher/peers.
