  • This Mobo is TUF to pass up
Style: X570-PLUS
Motherboards tend to come in two varieties: good but expensive or cheap and crappy. It is the rare motherboard indeed that comes in at a low price and manages to be reliable and well equipped, and the TUF Gaming series for x570 is a shining example. Pros: x570 chipset, large volume of memory support on QVL, high memory speed relative to the Ryzen memory controller capabilities, solid easy-to-understand BIOS, high quality VRM that is not only best in it's class but competes favorably against motherboards with a much higher price tag, and debug LEDs that already helped me out for memory overclocking. These two are more subjective but minimal RGB that is easily disabled and it has a solid feel to it. Cons: Given the price and other features I won't deduct stars for the following: while it has the debug LED lights it does not have a post code, nor does it have a BIOS flashback button. You have to short it on a specific pin, which while it works I still don't like doing that. Also more USB ports would be nice, and better placement of the chipset fan would have been a good idea. TLDR: The TUF punches far above it's weight and provided the perfect combination of price, performance, and scalability. You can run and OC a 3900x or even a 3950x if you wanted to, and at 165$ for a new chipset it's a steal. ... show more

  • A nice motherboard that even I, a newbie, assembled easily
Style: X470-PLUS
I was expecting the BIOS and motherboard connection part to be a Hell for me, given this is my first time, I was wrong. Didn't have any complications through the installation, the BIOS setup (which by the way I find it very easy to navigate through), and neither on the operative system usage that I'm using to write this review. I'd recommend buying it, although the top review pointing out the damages after 2 weeks and poor customer support has me concerned. Will update this review if something happens. Still, nothing has gone wrong for now and everything went nicely and running smoothly. Fits perfectly for my black/yellow PC build, a nice yellow industrial color design (Corsair for the most part), I like it! Material quality and durability are nice, I admit I pushed a little too hard on the 24-pin power connector, but the motherboard held on strong. Oh yeah, the RGB lights are pretty cool too, not too bright to be a disco dance floor, but also not unnoticeable, it's balanced and good. Assembly is mixed, I have never built a PC before, so my first experience cannot be granted for sure. Would probably buy it again for any of my friends if they decide to upgrade. ... show more

  • Solid motherboard
Style: X570-PLUS
A few months in, I'm glad that I went with this choice versus cheaper brands. This board has a ton of space for expansion once you build your rig. Everything mounted just fine, and I've encountered no issues. BIOS setup was easy and intuitive, and the computer boots fast. It's nice how thorough you can be with programming the lights, although I needed three separate programs to cover my RAM, motherboard/case fans, and CPU cooler. This may cause a bit of memory usage if all running at the same time in the background. There are ways to consolidate it, but I've run into issues trying them. I would suggest getting the WIFI compatible model, since I've been using a Linksys WIFI USB adaptor, and it cuts out every few hours and reboots. I only use this because I had it from before building this PC, and the WIFI compatible board is more expensive. I hear of a lot of my friends having motherboard issues with their PCs (and they're relatively new), because they cheaped out on the motherboard. If you buy a model like this, you won't be sorry. ... show more

  • Solid Board But Space Compatibility Issues With Other Hardware
Style: X570-PLUS
First of all, this board is a good value for your money when it comes to x570 boards. The build quality is solid, and the little rgb background behind the board is nice. It has plenty of sata ports, memory support and just general goodness built into it. As a personal benefit for me, it also supports cpu virtualization, which is something I required in my new motherboard since I run linux virtual machines a lot. So if you're looking for a board to do hyper-v containers with, this one will probably work for you with the newer ryzen cpus. Now for the bad. 1. This motherboard doesn't have a connector for USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C on the actual board. It has a type-C connector on the back ports, but if you have a case with a front port that supports a connection of that sort and needs a port on the motherboard - like my Fractal Design Define 7 - you're going to be out of luck with connecting it. 2. There's only 3 fan ports on this thing: 3. I'd be fine with 5, maybe 4? At this point, I'm counting my lucky stars that I went with the case that I did because of its included fan hub. A mid-tower with only 3 fans is just asking for heating problems, and this definitely knocked half a star off for me. 3. The spacing on the PCI and bottom ports is just bad. With my current GPU, I couldn't fit it in the top or bottom PCI 3.0x16 slots while also using the Noctua NH-D15 cooler that I had ordered for a computer upgrade that included this board. I had to downgrade to the stock AMD cooler that came with my processor because the top port was just too close to the cpu socket and the bottom port caused my card to obscure the ports that are collected down there for case related functionality. Since newer cards are less bulky than my current one and I could have gotten a smaller HSF cooler, I'm not taking a full star off for this. However, I feel like a little too much was scrunched into this board without enough concern for proper spacing between the components. ... show more

  • Great board with most all the features you'll want or need Great board with most all the features you'll want or need
Style: X570-PLUS
Very well made board with plenty of features. Support for up to 128 GB ram, Easy to overclock in my case a Ryzen 9300x up to 4.1GHz very stable. Love the ability so save profiles based on the particular OS you are running. Can easily update the bios from a USB thumb drive of straight from within the bios via the internet. Also easy to Hackintosh... If you choose to hackintosh the internal Network adapter will not work, you'll need to get a compatible USB wifi adapter or you can use the Internal Network Card I purchased here on Amazon that has native Mac Support, installed without any needed drivers and works right out of the Box. Intel I210-T1 Network Adapter E0X95AA I enjoy the Board and to date have not had any issues, lockups, blues screens or problems. ... show more

  • Great motherboard - Ryzen 5600G - Samsung 980 Pro.
Style: X570-PLUS
I bought this motherboard for my daughter's PC. I did buy also the AMD Ryzen 5600G processor for it together with a Samsung 980 Pro for storage, and Gskill 4000 Mhz Ram, 2 x 16 GB. In short, this motherboard does a pretty good job. Read and write speeds around 3GB per second, and with the Gskill RAM set at 4000 Mhz in the bios, the graphic fps is about 52 fps and that is surely not bad for build-in graphics. This setup is capable to render all current games for sure and while dedicated gamers might want to buy a processor without graphics and with more cores in combination with a dedicated video card, the setup I created does offer decent performance without the need of spending about $1500 additionally for the 2 upgrades mentioned. Note that this motherboard does also have a DisplayPort, something that is missing on many others. ... show more

  • Best x570 board for Ryzen 3000 and 4000
Style: X570-PLUS
PROS: Best x570 board on the market. Great BIOS. Only competition for price MAY be the MSI Mag Tomahawk x570, which is still not out yet. Future ready for Ryzen 4000, the last of the x570/AM4 slotted CPU's; VRM should be overkill for overclocking a 16 core Ryzen 4000, given 4000 uses much less power than the 3000 series. This board is amazing; Running 32 GB of ram at 3800, 1900 1:1 with infinity fabric. The price is unbeatable. Military grade components designed to last! Can't go wrong with this board! CONS: Only issue I had was having to hard reboot holding a pin on the motherboard to reset the BIOS when overclock failed.... no o/c boot protection did not work all the time, but other times it did. ... show more

  • Bought it for my ryzen 2700x...AM NOT SORRY! Bought it for my ryzen 2700x...AM NOT SORRY!
Style: X470-PLUS
I bought this motherboard for my first ever computer build and I am not disappointed! It looks sleak, tough(tuf) as its name could be perceived, and was easy to install and runs great! No hiccups since I first turned it on and I am beyond happy with the results! It accomodates my 1070 and will soon accomodate my new 2070,may update my review for that, and it fits perfectly with the Asus Tuf GT501 case which is a monster all on its own! I highly recommend the tuf series for people like me who want a solid build without any unnecessary bells and whistles for people like me just building a PC for the first time....and for those who want to be TUF! Cheasy I know but c'mon....it's worth it! ... show more
