Renewed
I have this same headset for my xbox so I decided to try a renewed for my ps5, since it was half the new price. Other than the micro USB cord that came with it not fitting tightly in the base, works just as well as my xbox headset. Just used one of my countless micro USB cords I had. The ps5 does not power the base on in rest mode. But I can use my xbox base to charge it just gotta set it on the ps base after powering the ps5 on to resync with that base.

Upgraded from Gen 3
If your Gen 3 is in Good Condition, I would say upgrading is not worth it. But My Gen 3 was 7 years old, and this upgrade was worth it. Sound quality is about the same, maybe a little better. Microphone quality is better, still have problems sitting the headset on the deck and it actually charge. Pros- Looks nicer, Newer, and battery life is much better. Cons- Charger Deck is hard to get it charging. The headset isnt super loud (Im half deaf though, may just be me) you need an application to change Mic volume. All in all, I would recommend Astros to anyone. There my favorite headset

Paper weight in the shape of a headset
Sound quality? good, mic quality? also good so what's the issue? the issue is that this thing began to break down just 3 months after purchase first the battery stopped charging, I would put it to charge for an entire day, the station claims it is at full charge, I turn it on and it turns off after 5 seconds, when I plug it again it claims it is at 0%, it also now transmit audio while plugged in and even if set to off, so now it is always on while charging I could still use it but as a wired headset with extra steps, as it still requires the stand to connect but now after about a year it has began to show more issues, the wire connected to the headset has holes all over the place, and it doesn't seem to even connect properly anymore, but the other cables I try have a different issue, as they might just disconnect at random, except it is not a real disconnect as I still hear the "turning off" sound when unplugging I have no idea what is wrong with this thing but I honestly feel ripped off

Worth It
If these are considered "Mid Range" headsets, then anything above this would be considered professional grade. These are comfortable enough for long gaming sessions. I love that they're plug and play right out of the box without any need for setup(PS4). I like the different customizable modes for sound quality. The sound quality in game is so good that I swear that it made my eyesight better. You can pinpoint the direction of the noises in 3D with these. I highly recommend these for the price point.

IT'S WORTH THE MONEY!!!
It's definitely worth the money! I've ordered this product twice, and both times the quality was amazing. Both pairs arrived looking almost brand new. The only drawback is that you may not receive all the cords you need, which can be frustrating. Still, the quality is like new, and customer service responds quickly if you have any questions. I'll gladly buy from them again.

Looked and Sounded Great, but Headset Wouldn't Seat Correctly On Base Stand.
Keep in mind that this review is for a refurbished pair of A50's I bought ($180, Exellent condition), not a brand new pair. The headset and base were in good condition visibly and the headset sounded great but I couldn't get them to seat correctly on the base. They would connect for a few seconds but then the 4 LED lights would flash non-stop indicating a bad or no connection. Instead I just charged it with a Micro-USB cable (which seemed to take longer). I used to own a pair of A50's (previous Gen) so I have a good idea of how long it takes to charge and how long the battery lasts and these seemed to take a lot longer to charge (at least 3-4 hours from dead to fully charged) and when fully charged the battery definitely did not last as long. The product description says 12 hours of use on a full charge and they probably only lasted 7 or 8 hours. My old A50's lasted me about 5-6 years and the issue of them not seating correctly and therefore not connecting to the base was the first issue that appeared and was the final nail in the coffin for the headset because if they cannot connect to the base then the wireless signal doesnt get sent to the headset meaning no sound comes through.

Decent headset for the money, microphone issues
Had these for a while now, I got the refurbished version and the sound quality is decent however I noticed a clear difference in loudness versus my g933s, they function all right the microphone is what has the most issues like if you put it down from its up position it doesn't work sometimes and you have to put it back up and down again I'm not sure if that's a common issue for these things but that's what I've been experiencing, the microphone overall though isn't that great obviously I would recommend getting a USB mic like Blue Yeti or something like that, the design as normal is as expected it's good and comfortable, overall I would say it was a good value for my money.
