Seems to be good bang for your buck; just got them in tonight and. have been using for the past hour. Honestly I'm surprised at how comfortable they are and at the sound as well. They are not fully noise-cancelling (to be expected) but the quality of the sound is great. I haven't used the mic feature yet and am having some trouble getting the input to work for it, so I may put this down to 4 stars if that persists. I got these since I work from home and it won't be a huge deal if that feature ends up not being compatible with my desktop Mac, but definitely a little irritating atm. Overall I like what I paid for. EDIT: It took a lot of tinkering with plugging in and out and twisting in the ports to get my input mic to work. But it works and the quality of my recordings and calls are great! It is a little quiet, so I had to turn my dials all the way up but sounds great now. ... show more

I’ve spent thousands on headsets over the years from different products like Turtle Beach, Astro, Beats by Dre etc… I’ve owned the Astro A50’s and after 3 1/2 years of owning them they finally gave out and I didn’t want to spend another $300 on something that I can only use on one particular console.. I went the cheap route and went with the A10’s and I’m glad I did! The quality is there! The noise canceling is good! They’re comfortable and so far if these were to break I’d have no problem in buying another pair. Only downside is the headphones don’t really fit your ears fully like the A50’s did.. The ear cups don’t fold to lay on your neck when you remove them and also there isn’t any voice feedback to be able to hear yourself better but all in all those little features I can sacrifice because you literally get what you pay for but it’s worth every penny if you’re an average gamer and just want to comfortably play and be able to chat with friends for a few hours! ... show more

When the package arrived I wanted to test out the audio just to see if the audio was good but then i realized that one side didn’t work. I then contacted ASTRO’S tech support line and then they told me how to troubleshoot it. After 15 mins, it finally had perfect audio. I have the ASTROS A50, A40 and A20. As you can see I am a fan of the ASTROS, so I wanted to try the A10 and for the price they are good, my only complaint it is the volume. I can't turn the volume up as much I want to. But again these are the cheapest ASTROS. In the past I've had generic brands and other cheap headsets from others big brands and they do turn the volume up as much I want. So that is something to think about before buying these. Sound quality is good but isn't anything to write home about, perfectly solid for a headset at this price range. Surround sound is also pretty good, I've been playing lethal company with these and these are perfect at emulating that game's fantastic sound design and directional sound. Mic quality is great for the price, again, not as good as a dedicated mic, but way better than most other $50 headsets, even better than a lot of $100 headsets! Pretty comfortable and breathable I don't get that kind of gamer head sweatyness like from others, even after hours. Even with glasses there's no major discomfort, maybe a bit of soreness after hours of continual pressure, but nothing that doesn't go away after a quick 5min break with them off. Only complaint is that I wish I got these wireless! For me, the cable is a bit long, and often gets tangled up in my desk and chair. I may just swap out the aux for a shorter one... Overall, these are the best $50 headset I've owned, can't recommend it highly enough for its solid sound quality, comfort, and mic quality. ... show more

These headsets are a good budget gaming headset. It has good sound quality and very loud that it removes background noise. I do believe the mic isn’t as great though. My friends always complain of a mic echo and the wire to the headset has to be manipulated.
