The purse is well made true leather. The inside is well crafted with a zippered compartment in the middle of the bad as opposed to the side. There are several large pockets on one side and a large compartment on the other side. The pebble grain is different to any bags I have had but, it is lovely and well crafted. I would like the strap to be a little thicker but it's fine. It's very soft and rich feeling and of a good medium size. I did get this with a great coupon so again this is a really great deal for a very nice bag with a nice dust cover. This was a great buy and I think this bag would be great from teen to adult. This purse (I bought the red) is absolutely beautiful!!! The leather is very soft and the color is rich and deep. The lining is gorgeous, thick silver/brown material that is very luxurious and has a nice feel! There are 2 major pouches with 2 slip pockets on one side, and a zipper pouch on the other side. The zippers are silver and are of ver high quality. There are 2 handles as well as a long strap included for creating a cross-body. I absolutely love this purse but I had to return it because it was a bit too small for my needs. I am going to go look for a larger purse by HeShe! There's a sub pocket in it that fits the planner perfectly, leaving the open area of the bag free of other other items. Feels very organized in that respect. I love the color, the style and it is DEFINITELY genuine leather...no vegan leather here. I love that the leather is soft and the zippers glide smoothly. The prongs at the bottom of the bag (on the outside) was a must for me. I feel that it helps slowdown wear & tear as time goes buy. I reordered this after the first box came opened with the bag awol, Amazon quickly refunded the money but wish they would have just replaced it. However, just a few clicks and I had another on the way. I really like the dark color and the size was perfect. Since I like a simplistic look to my bags, I was glad to see the tassel is easily detachable. I am petite at 5"2 and 79 pounds. This size when carried by me, does look a bit larger, not quite as I had a tote, but it looks proportionate to my size. The inner liner is made of some type of plastic type of fabric. Very cheap in quality, looks and texture. Does seem that it will rip rather quickly. It comes with a horrendous chemical smell. I have been trying to air it out, used the breeze on it, paper bag with apple trick. Nothing has quelled it yet. It will jump on you. If it rubs on your leg, it transfers that odor. This is a strong smell. My daughter came into the kitchen, where my bag was on the counter, trying to air out and asked why I had sprayed bug spray. You don't have to be in very close proximity to smell it. No leather smell. On the plus side. Spraying it did not leave any spots or decolorization. The center divider hinders that open bag ability to organize with an insert bag. Cutting down the space. The shoulder strap seems to be a bit thinner and narrower, so if you load your bag down, it may start to hurt after a bit. However, the handles seem to be very secure and of a nice length/size. The width is comfortable in your hands. The fact I can't get rid of the odor makes it useless to me. Wanted to love this,, wanted to order a couple for gifts. Since the girls are sensitive to strong odors, I will have to pass on this one. ... show more
