I was nervous during install that it wouldn't hold a load at highway speeds, but a loaded roof basket held fine. Everything arrived undamaged and the install was not complicated. The hard part was finding the right spacing and tightening everything. Make sure to tighten the clamps first and the sliding adjustment screws last. I plan to leave them on, as installing and uninstalling could lead to drops, chipped paint and stripped hardware.
