This flashlight absolutely punches above its weight and budget. I was looking for a solid, reliable flashlight for my rifle that had a pressure switch after growing tired of actuating tailcap switches. Unfortunately, most of the good ones that I was seeing were priced so high they must have been made of unobtainium. That's when I found this based on a review from 704 tactical. It's a feature-rich flashlight that is blindingly bright and won't disappoint. It locks up tight on the rail, and integrates well with a pressure switch holder (not included). Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a five star cheap light right here. Had it on my swat rifle for over a year. The thumb screw does work itself loose every once and awhile but my rifle has been kicked dropped fallen from heights fallen in the lake been in all weather. The light does get weak in the cold when using a remote switch but with the push button works great. All in all I would buy this light over and over again. It has taken a pounding for over a year and keeps on ticking. Put expensive batteries in it and it won't let you down ... show more

Good, solid, cheap light. Works well, but it's a very cheap light and should be treated as such. Batteries load from the front, unscrew the light bulb portion of the light. The back of the body is too narrow for the batteries to fall out, so you can change from switch to button without worrying about the batteries getting lost. The pic rail mount comes off and the body of the light has standard scout light screw holes for mounting in other ways. Only part I wish was better is the tape switch doesn't have a constant on. This is totally acceptable considering the price point. The plug for the tape switch seems compatible with surefire style switches/plugs. ... show more

Awesome for the price. Great addition for a range toy or other non-duty applications. Might be gtg for a duty gun, but I'm not gonna take that chance myself. literally just bought this to temporarily borrow the tailcap and pressure switch from while I wait on my surefire DS00 cap and unity dual pressure switch to deliver. Not sure the candela is up to snuff (literally just don't know, haven't tested the light thoroughly and don't really intend to given my reason for buying), but beam pattern and brightness are pretty good. Worth noting: the UE tailcap appears to be of the newer design, whereas most clones like this use the older design, which affects certain accessory compatibility. This is why I ordered this clone. I have a couple other ones in the spare parts bin and tried their tailcaps on my arisaka Protac HLX tailcap adapter, and those ones did not thread on whereas this one does (both UE and clicky style caps from this light fit the adapter). So yay for that. *EDIT* just realized this is the second one of this exact clone I've bought, one of those other clones in the spare parts bin I mentioned was this light. However, they seem to have updated the tailcap since this one fit the Arisaka adapter and the other didn't. Also, the pressure switch on this second one is very nice! Cable is higher quality than expected, and plug interfaces very nicely with genuine Surefire DS00 tailcap I received today, snaps in place nice & snug and functions great! All things considered, with a Malkov E2XT head upgrade I'd probably run this light body/tailcap/pressure switch on a duty rig without a second thought. ... show more

    • Batteries go in the front of the light, not the rear.
Great lights, very bright. Have two of them, mounted on ar15's. Hundreds of rounds later and they keep working. Cr123 batteries DO work, twist off the head of the light to insert them, DO NOT try to put them in the rear of the flashlight, they will not fit through that opening. Not a fan of the tape switch, it is finicky but the regular clicky switch works great. ... show more

    • Hard to beat for the price point
I bought this for a cheaper option than the name brand lights. It fits perfectly on picatinny rail. However you have to really make sure it’s tight. Its exterior appearance can easily be mistaken for a surefirelight. It’s durable and waterproof during rainfall. The internal part of this flashlight shows me why they are able to sell this light for cheap. For the price point, it’s hard to beat and am satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

depending on your use case, its ok. in general its not very heavy duty (I cannot imagine the light or the switch lasting very long) but most disappointing is that the light is not even as bright as surefire that claims to have less than half of the lumens. so I guess this is the perfect light for playing dress up but not using ... show more
