The jacket feels extremely will made. Pros: It fits true to size. The material is great. The heat is really good It has adjustment at the waist line to close off air Cons: the battery is priority. It's not standard USB. You must use the one battery you have. I did not like that. It should have been a standard connector The hood isn't removable. That's just too easy to have for it not to be there. Overall the jacket is a great jacket. I would recommend this for anyone. I'm a police officer and I wear this under an outer carrier. I bought this jacket because I wanted to see the difference between the Milwaukee M12 jackets (I own two for work as I always have batteries on truck charged), and another less known, less expensive brand. This jacket is really nice, build quality is pretty good, functionality is great, battery life is good. Couple oddities with this jacket. A-if you select high heat setting it only runs for a few minutes on high then drops down to medium, if you want high again you have cycle through heat settings again. B-if you use jacket then shut it off and let it sit you have to unplug battery and plug it back in to get jacket to power back up in order for jacket to heat up again. Bought this jacket to use while on my motorcycle to keep warm. On the most part this jacket looks great, fits well, extremely durable, and it works. I constantly get compliments and questions on it all the time! This jacket will work extremely well as a stand alone jacket in 40+ degrees outside. Any colder than that you will have to layer up to insulate. However, deapite having to layer up with an extra jacket and hoodie, it is nice to have the extra heat. Battery life depends on usage, on highest setting you’ll get 2-3 hours. Lowest setting you’ll get 4-5 hours. DEFINITELY does NOt last for 8 hours! ... show more

I hate being cold and I hate having too much stuff on. Winter is hard for me. Which led me to find the perfect jacket. I decided to try Dewbu after an extensive search and here are my takeaways. Heats up fast and works great for cold, rainy days. Waterproof material kept me dry in the middle of a winter slush/rain shower. I bought the black jacket in size medium. I’m 5’10 , 180lbs. The fit for me was perfect. The fit is true to size, so if you wear heavy sweatshirts or sweaters, may want to consider a size up. It looks great , simply styling - comes with removable shoulder Velcro patches that you can peel off. Cuffed sleeves. The hoodie provides more than enough cover and doesn’t look unnecessarily large - you can actually roll it up and store it away however it does not detach. Has deep zippered pockets for your hands that has key hooks/loops and your collar drawstrings so you never have to take your hands out. Also has zippered pockets on the sleeves - another cool feature to keep something within reach but tucked away. Comes with a battery pack that will last at least 8 hours on low. Battery will take awhile to charge so having an extra one on hand isn’t a bad idea. Since I bought a heated hoodie from them as well so I used the batteries interchangeably. They also offer a car 12v plug using the vehicle’s battery for power; no more freezing while car is warming up. A lot of people have come up to me about the jacket - the glowing on/off button usually catches their eyes. If they are lucky enough I let them try it out! Can’t recommend enough. I work in the union as a welder out here in Alaska and across the lower 48. This jacket is not supposed to roast you or get super hot. It was designed to keep your body temperature at 98°. So far it works great at work on low. It's 32° right now. I'm very comfortable. I've not needed to try it on high heat yet. Breaks the wind very well to. The hood fits over my hard hat as well. 3xl is my size and I ordered 3xl jacket and it fits perfectly. Only negative thing is there are no regular pockets for the hands. If I was to be in 0° or -20° weather then I would probably get the heated vest and wear that under my carhartt and have the vest on low to just stretch out the life of the battery. I've welded in the jacket and it hasn't got any damage on it yet. I've not done any overhead welding and I don't think I will in the jacket but just bench welds it's fine. That's using 6010 5/32 and 1/8 7018. Jacket just bounces the sparks off. F that milwaukee jacket. The battery is in the worst place on the milwaukee. With this one I don't even notice the battery in the small pocket. So far I'm happy with it. ... show more

I am very pleased with this coat and the heaters. This settings work perfectly you just have to read the instructions three or four times or at least I did. And follow it very closely and you won't have any problem with adjusting the heat levels. It heats up instantly in hot mode. The main reason I purchased this wonderful coat was the fact that I'm on blood thinners and I'm always cold and I have to layer my clothes. Now I can get away with just wearing a T-shirt and a long sleeve shirt as recommended to protect your skin from the head. I purchased both the Vest as well as the fall jacket. And both of them are very comfortable the material is unbelievable for the cost normally when would have to spend at least seven maybe $800 to have something of its equal. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. This jacket is warm, well-made, and well-designed. Pockets are plentiful, well-positioned, with easy open tabs for zippers that can be used when wearing gloves. Electric heating feature works well, battery lasts all day on lowest setting.
