  • The value is there
Style: Z690M-ITX/ax
Checked all the boxes for a build with a nr200. The built in wifi is high caliber ax, ethernet options for both gig Intel and 2.5 gig dragon. Most headers are easily accessible with the exception of the argb. Order of operation matters, fans for a tower cooler go on last. Wish the io was integrated but it fit well regardless. System booted up well. 2x16gb in the ram slots hit xmp without issue. Running cool with a 12600kf and the option to upgrade down the road is nice. Video outputs not applicable in my case but my 4070 fit well and feels secure ... show more

  • Nice motherboard
Style: Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4
So I would have give 5 stars except for the wifi antenna is super cheap and they should include additional heatsink for back mounted NVMe.

  • Seems fine so far. Cheapest way to overclock a 14th gen K cpu.
Style: Z690M PG Riptide/D5
Arrived with a new enough bios such that I did not need to use bios flashback to support a 14600K.

  • Never had so many issues with a Board
Style: Z690 Phantom Gaming 4/D5
Bad boards did not exist in my reality until I had the misfortune of receiving this piece of junk. First off it gives me DRAM and VGA errors. DRAM is good in other board, VGA is though good GPU. Decide to go thru the APU via the mobo hdmi. It works, but now how to get GPU to work? Upgrade bios? Ok, make USB with creative file name with latest version for this mobo. Go into bios, USB is nowhere to be seen? How does Bios not see the USB? Try it with another USB.....nothing So I am forced to "flash" with the mobo turned off? Gross I do this, and then no more boot, throws DRAM error I remove the battery, jumper the cmos No boot. DO IT AGAIN BUT JUMPER FOR SOLID 1 MINUTE....... NO BOOT Brick? Ordered another board, SUCCESS on first try lol Maybe I just got a bad product, poor quality control, Never Asrock again ... show more

  • Good
Style: Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4
Upgraded BIOS to the latest version and it works with a 13th gen CPU, it's great with my 13700K UEFI is fine, there's an Easy mode and a Pro mode, you can mess with a lot. It's not as "nice looking" as the MSI UEFI that I'm used to but I don't think anybody actually cares how nice a UEFI looks lol Default fan ramping is very aggressive. This is the only thing I own with a proper MIMO Wi-Fi antenna, it's impressive When I got Windows installed, ASRock's own driver installer seem to have been downloaded from Microsoft automatically. After I let it install/update the ASRock specific drivers, it didn't seem to bother me ever again, which is good, no bloat The small size, beefy heatsinks, and metal backplate, all make this feel very tough during assembly There's a heat pipe from the side VRMs to the main "heatsink". Is it really a heatsink? It's a gigantic chunk of aluminum, I don't see any way for airflow though. This might be one of the reasons the other reviewer said the VRMs run hot The PCB's silkscreen text is tight, be extra careful in reading it and understanding it ... show more

  • Use the bios flashback
Style: Z690M-ITX/ax
I put together a PC with this board and a 13th generation cpu, it wouldn't boot until I updated the bios to the latest version using the bios flashback which was very handy. I couldn't tell what bios version it came with because no video, if you plug it in and lights come up and the power button works but no video, get a usb key and do the bios flashback, it booted straight away after that. ... show more
