While there are a handful of WRX80 motherboards on the market, this one ticked all of the boxes for me. It features dual Intel 10 GbE NICs, Intel Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4, support for 2TB of RAM, and best of all the size is not much larger than ATX.

    • Best of the WRX80 motherboards! Ensure no screw/metal behind the D1 memory slot.
We bought two of these for company ML workstations, they're great. SSDs can be hot, so skip the cooling plates and use a fan heatsink if needed. If you're using multiple GPUs, do initial setup with just one, and then add the others.
