DDR5 slots have the right amount of tightness so getting 2x16 Crucial DDR5 5600 modules snapped with the right amount of force. The RX7600 video card fit well, no component interference and it felt solid in the PCIe slot. Cable connections all worked fine and was easy to install in the case. This MB, my power supply and case are the only things from a year ago that are the same price. I don't seem to know whats up with other peoples problem with the board but i have had no issues says what its gonna do. Alot of negative reviews seem to be on the beginner side of builders not knowing about static killing a board or how to install a cpu and damaging the pins then saying they had a different problem with the board even though we can clearly see they bent the pins. I highly recommend educating yourself on how to protect your parts while installing before blaming a reputable motherboard manufacturer. ... show more

    • Box not sealed at factory, appears worn on outside, hoping it's not a sign of things to come!

My son is building a PC and buying parts piecemeal as he gets the money. This was a good deal, but it's a little worrisome when a product like this comes, and there's no factory seal on the box. It's not that the factory seal was broken, it just wasn't even there! The box looked a little worn, and it is a box that opens super easily. It could have very easily have opened itself during transit and anything could have happened to the motherboard! The anti-static bag for the motherboard is also not sealed, just folded over. There's very little indication when you buy this that it is brand new, never opened before, new in box. There's lots of opportunities with how little seals there were for anyone to have used this before and slipped it back in, although it does appear new. I would not recommend buying this unless you can use it right away. I'm not sure when my son will buy his CPU, and not being able to test this motherboard within the return window is frightening! I will update the review if it works or doesn't work. But so far, some signs are worrying. ... show more

I do not know why but I could not get this motherboard to boot when everything was installed. I ended up leaving it plugged in and just work on it later. For some reason when I got back (Maybe 2 hours later), the thing started right up and has been working perfect. I like the bios and suites my needs great. You have to buy a wifi/bluetooth card + antenna's if you want those features (Maybe 35 bucks). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am updating my review from 5 stars to 1. After two months, my Ryzen 5 7600 suffered a permanent IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) failure. While I had the BIOS updated, my experience aligns with recent reports regarding voltage management on ASRock AM5 boards. Key Issues: - EXPO Instability: The board was never stable with EXPO at 6000 MHz, causing constant blue screen of death (BSODs) during gaming. It only "worked" at 5600 MHz before the CPU eventually died - Official Acknowledgement: ASRock has released statements and BIOS updates (like v3.25) specifically to lower PBO limits (TDC/EDC), admitting that previous factory settings were potentially too aggressive. This confirms the issues were not isolated. - Risk Factor: While this board is budget-friendly and offers PCIe 5.0, the "savings" are not worth the risk of damaging a CPU. I have since switched to a Gigabyte board and the difference in stability is night and day. Bottom line: Until ASRock and AMD provide a more transparent and definitive solution for these voltage-related failures, I cannot recommend this board. Update: I switched to a Gigabyte B850M board with the same RAM and a replacement CPU (Ryzen 5 9600x) , and EXPO 6000 MHz works perfectly with zero issues. This confirms the stability problems were indeed related to the previous motherboard. Come on Asrock, do a better job ... show more
