It looks great but a little too big and the sound is really plastic. I just don’t wanna go through the hassle of wrapping and sending it back so I’ll just make do, a prop for audience that wants to play along… I have to say the sound of the wooden ones are still the best.

I am an utter disbelief how this happens. I bought this inexpensive set of percussion instruments and I was very pleased with the quality given the price. So I bought another set and the second set is terrible. It's clearly a lower quality plastic and the sound is like somebody put wet oatmeal in the egg shakers. This happens often on Amazon where you will buy a product and it's pretty good but if you buy another one it won't be as good. I think the first run is higher quality products until they get enough good reviews and then they switch to something lower quality. These are not the same they are lower quality and they are terrible and I am not just disappointed because they're bad I'm disappointed because I don't know where to find the ones which came the first time I ordered.
