It took me over 2 hours to get all of the grips and wheels attached. Yes, I am a blonde, but I think anyone who was not prepared would be upset. Just the aggravation of searching for a big enough philip’s head screw driver and pliers and wrench and rubber mallet when I don’t have a tool box took up too much time. Even if you aren’t blonde I highly recommend putting the orange and black grips in hot water. I did for 2nd end piece and it made it so much easier to slip them on. Tomorrow I will attempt to set it up. Oh, and it is not light weight.

I like the concept of the accordion ladder but the latch mechanism for each step and the material strength is flimsy at best. If you extend it too high, the rail start to bend and feel super weak to stand on. When it is time to lower the steps for storage, the ladder steps come crashing down on your hands as you unlatch them. It is not the US grade ladders we are to for certain.

This is perfect for me to reach on top of my 9+ foot Intech Sol Dawn. At first I was a little nervous and said my silent prayers. There was no need as this is super sturdy (I’m 5’4” and 145lbs)and I especially liked this one for the hooks on top. They do turn so it was a nice surprise when I didn’t want to lean on the awning and it was able to give just enough space to keep weight off.

This is PERFECT! I can hardly handle a regular extension ladder. This is lightweight but feels very sturdy. I haven’t figured out how to attach the hooks but I haven’t really tried. It’s fine without them but I hope to figure it out soon. I rarely read instructions…perhaps that would help! It’s such a great idea, and for me, it feels like a Godsend! Reasonably priced, arrived fast, works great. Thank you!!! =)

This ladder felt very flimsy when my 140lb wife climbed in it. It bowed and I, who weigh 70lb more, didn’t even bother to try to climb it. We bought this to use for a painting project and to cut some tree limbs but we decided to return it.
