These bulbs are perfect for reading / studying / etc. The frosted glass hides the filaments so they're not as blindsiding / jarring on the eyes. The description says they're a "warm white" but they appear more like soft daylight, which highlights and blends with any interior. Highly recommend!

I was happy with this bulb but it didn't last. I had it in my master bathroom for two years and 7 months. We don't leave lights on very often, I doubt I used it for average hours under warranty but they limit the warranty to two years. I am estimating at 2 hours a day x 2.7 years and I get 1,620 hours. I ordered these because I needed many lights to go in our new home. This was a large box for a good price. The bulbs work great and look great. We've had them in most of our home for months with no issue. I went to replace a set of 3 regular bulbs that had already gone out after only a few months. The last bulb in the box was broken. I reached out to the company via the email on the card in the box. They were quick to respond and find a solution. I sent a picture of the broken bulb and how many were broken. I just bought these to go with a new light fixture in my bathroom. I bought the frosted bulbs as I didn't want a harsh light (ASOKO ST64 Frosted LED Edison Vintage Light Bulbs, 6W) and they look nice BUT they definitely cast a slight greenish light. Not good in a bathroom. I thought I looked like I was getting sick then I realized the light was on the green side. Certainly not good for skin tone.
