Ok ive seen a lot of reviews on here about this bike being junk and what not but i think people just misunderstand so here is my take . 1. The bike advertises, like a hundred miles on a charge. Well obviously that's not true. You have to take into account different sized riders who are different weight. Me myself, i'm 225 pounds. Not to mention, are you going uphill. Are you going downhill. Is it flatland those all factor into your range. 2. It says the top speed is like thirty something miles per hour. I'm sure if you weigh a hundred pounds, it could do that. With my weight I can get about twenty five flatland eighteen nineteen uphill, thirty two thirty three downhill.But we're talking physics here right. Overall, the range without pedal assist on different types of terrain for me and my weight is honestly about fifteen miles. And that's good, if i'm gonna ride farther than that i will get on my motorcycle lol. 3. For the quality, I really had no issues. Other than one of the brakes makes a popping noise when I squeeze it real hard, but it still stops. And yes, some assembly is required. So I do recommend you ride it a little bit and go through and tighten everything back down. And if you ride it for a long time and the battery is low make sure you let it cool down before you charge it. It will save the life of your battery. Also fully ride your bike until the battery light turns red and then charge it If you don't and you keep charging it after every ride, it will build up memory. For the price. And the fun it gives me. Do not buy the electric bike it is a safety hazard I rode the bike 12 miles before the battery died after it claims it goes 100 miles on a charge I was switching between modes 1 through 5 to see which one fit best I prefer to stay in mode two or three after 12 miles the battery died and I had to Pedal the bicycle the handlebars then snapped in half and made me crash and get a massive gash in my knee. The handlebars did not snap in half at a weld point or a Bend they snapped in half in the middle of the tube due to the crappy cast aluminum it's made out of the seller is impossible to get a hold of in Amazon is not helping in the return process due to it being from a third party vendor. I'm lucky the handlebars broke when they did on a road with no cars or Vehicles barely. Please save yourself the money and buy a different e-bike this is a terrible purchase ... show more

The bike was good . Fast worked well . But not even 50miles of use the battery is not holding a charge. Has left my son stranded 2 times now. First time I figured he didn't charge it but we charged he rode and now he is peddling this heavy bike home once again. Will update this when company rectifies this issue. Still battling back and forth . Battery bms has failed. Bike is not usable . Once you plug in to charger it will wake up you ride less then a block shuts off. Less than 91 mi on bike ... show more

    • Its expected for a cheap bike
There's a couple negatives 1: range is 14-20 miles fully electric depending typical driving conditions 2: screws on bike suck 2nd day riding and the pedal arm scew washer wasn't installed correctly and broke off and bent the screw. Had to buy better screws and I replaced the pedals and crank arms (both) just because I don't want to deal with it if it breaks as well. 3: like I said screws suck and now about a week in and kick stand screws fell out I ordered replacement screws and screw glue so it won't fall out in the future I kept kickstand since it seems good. 4: seat is not the most comfortable but i got used to it 5: this one isn't a negative just a heads up the display will lie to you mine is off by 3 miles/hr and top speed is 25-28 faster if your going downhill. Thats my first week of riding it from Saturday to the next Saturday I've been mainly using it for traveling to and from work roughly 5.4 miles one way 10.8 total every day. I still like the bike and will continue to use it. I also am planning on adding a second battery to extend the range but will cost upwards of 300$ from what I seen. ... show more

I would not recommend this bike to anybody. The miles and speed was not what I expected when I read the description...it was low mileage and low speed which got me stranded. Even when on riding on street regular or low speed the battery died on me real quick.

    • Good bike, make sure to retighten steering!!
Great bike, must remember to retighten the steering after fully put together. First time ridden the while turning the steering locked and whipped out, couple of snuffed knees but ok now… Whush I’d known to retighten before!

This is one of the better bikes for the price. I haven’t had it very long but it is as good if not better than my wife’s bike for $300 less. It came broken (due to shipping) but I was able to fix it. 28 mph is as fast as I’ve gotten it to go which is fast enough for an e-bike. It looks a little more like a motorbike, not quite so sissy😊. I have to mention I’m 68 years old and I have fun riding it all around my small town. The 4 stars is because of shipping. The battery was torn off the bike and the contact wires were torn off the battery mount. Maybe they should improve the way it is mounted to the frame. Larger screws would maybe help. PS. The seat is not the most comfortable but not any worse than a bike for much more money. ... show more
