I bought this just as something to try and learn with. And personally I have no issues with it. Other than a small chip in the paint that I just painted over. But I'm terms of sound is not super loud but definitely loud enough for practicing or to play around a campfire. I Would recommend for a beginner. Digital tuner is worthless. Piece of paper to protect battery does not pull out easily. Screw to remove back to get to battery needs the smallest screwdriver never created. Therefore tuner can’t be activated. I used a tuner app in my cell phone

I'm a complete beginner, and this was something I was looking at because I wanted to try and learn without spending too much just incase I decided it wasn't my thing. I can't say how good the sound quality is because I haven't played any other guitars, but I can say that it's very bulky, and I am on the smaller side so it's really difficult for me to use. I'm assuming a lot of people buy this for their children to start off, and it's definitely way too big for that. The tuner it came with works great though, and it's still a decent pick for if you're just wanting to try something out without breaking the bank. I did just order a new guitar, however, because the size of the body as well as the fretboard were making it way too difficult for me to learn comfortably. ... show more
