Just wow!! Please excuse my messy counter! That aside, these lights worked great!! They can be placed horizontally or vertically, which was exactly what we needed as some lights can only be placed vertically. Additionally, you have the option of three different brightness levels - one of which you select while installing. I have it at the middle setting, & my husband will be installing a dimmer switch. The light is BRIGHT! my picture doesn't do the brightness justice. It's bright even during the day time, and practically blinding at night. The price is great as well. Only $150 for these 3! Light is very bright, and I like that I don't have to constantly change out vanity bulbs anymore. I bought two of these to update a bathroom. This vanity light is nice upgrade with contemporary styling. I set it for 3000K color temperature. This is nice improvement from the very dated-looking "4 globe bulb" vanity light.

The light seems quite bright enough. I have just installed it, so I can not say how long lasting this fixture is. However, I do want to WARN anyone trying to install this fixture, that it is extremely poorly engineered from the user-friendly standpoint. I have installed scores of light fixtures, so I was able to draw on my expertise to work around the design flaws and total LACK of clear instructions. I have never come across such a difficult, user-unfriendly installation design challenge as this light fixture posed. I figured the average installation time to be about an hour. Instead, it took three hours, and I work fast! I advise against trying to install this fixture if you are working in tight quarters -- the front lens needs clearance on both sides to tighten the bulky knob holding it to the frame. So don't plan on being able to put it snug up against a mirror, and any other surface edge. Then the lighting panel needs to be screwed onto the mounting plate with four very tiny screws, two at top and two at bottom which are difficult to line up with the holes in the plate. This fixture has three brightness settings, but the switch to change the setting is buried in the back of the unit, so if you ever change your mind about the brightness, you have to disassemble the entire unit to get at the switch, and start all over again. I picked the middle setting to be safe, and it's plenty bright. Design-wise this light is much bulkier than it needs to be. If you are going for the bulky retro look though, you might really like it. My wife wasn't really thrilled, but I told her it's staying where it is for now, as it took too much of my time to turn back now. The price is good for what you get. The parts all seem to be made of sturdy material. I have a feeling this light fixture was designed by a first-year engineer student. ... show more
